Great gourmet pizza and calzone. A little too much vegan cheese for our liking but for those who love and loved cheese, they would appreciate it. Next time, I would ask them to put less as it was a bit overpowering for the other ingredients. Service was great. Highly recommend!

Good pizza and slight misunderstanding - Edit
I went to pizzi&dixie with two friends and we shared two pizzas (calzone and pizza of the day which was asparagus and mushroom) as well as a dessert. The pizzas were very good, especially the calzone. Their vegan cheese is made by themselves from sweet potatoes, coconut oil and potato starch and it is absolutely amazing! One of the best vegan cheeses I've ever tried in my life.
Read moreWhen we ordered there was a note that if you order the pizza of the day you can get a dessert for 1,5 euros that is why we got it as normal price 5,5euros was quite high for us. The dessert (coulan) was ok but totally not worth the price of 5,5 euros as the taste wasn't the best and the portion was very small. When we got the bill, there was a full price of the dessert and when we asked why is it that way they told us that only some ice cream was in the deal for 1,5 and our dessert wasn't even though it wasn't written on the note included in our menu. The waitress showed us a note from another menu and there was, indeed, a caption that only ice cream is in the deal. But it was not written on our menu. We couldn't argue and had to pay the full price which was very dissapointing so I advise everyone to check twice what is included in the price and what is not.
The menu is not in English and the staff is not very keen on translating it.

The pizzas of Pizzi & Dixie are quite different from those of Masa Madre but they are tasty and more filled in with various vegetables. Some of the pizzas could be better with more cheese but on the whole, they are fair for the price. The size of the pizzas is sufficient for a meal, the decoration of the restaurant is nice and the service is good.

Pizzie Dixie offers mainly italian vegan food with a small selection of raw vegan dishes (the chef is the chef of the now extinct raw vegan restaurant Botanique).
Read moreThe quality is very good. I specially reccommend the Pixie pizza and the shitake carpaccio which was very surprising and tasty. The staff is really friendly and the place is beautiful.
The price is reasonable for a restaurant located in such a fancy area of the city but there are cheaper options in Madrid if you want to eat good vegan food. Nevertheless. it offers a lunch menu consisting of a pizza or starter + main dish for 10 euro which I consider to be very good value for the food.
In short, Pizzie Dixie is a really good place to eat if you want to visit Madrid and get a taste of its most trendy neighboorhoods.

Their environmental devotion is clear from the theme of the restaurant and the products they use (heavily recycled). The food itself was incredible - I had the gluten free gnocchi and the raw cake dessert. Both were absolutely exquisite. The place was in a very trendy area and I can only imagine that their pizzas (probably the specialty?!) are incredible as well.

Las pizzas están buenisimas! A mediodía hay menú del día o menú pizza, al que puedes añadir postre por poco dinero mas (la panna cota está espectacular). No es exactamente barato, pero por 12 euros te das el capricho de una buena pizza de las de masa fina.

Delicious vegan Italian food - Edit
Brand new restaurant in Malasaña. Serves vegan salads, pizzas, pasta and risotto with fresh ingredients. I ordered a roasted leek and orange salad and the garden pizza with vegan cheese and finely cut slices of aubergine and courgette. The local is decorated with colored wooden furniture, warm lightning and flowers. They also have a careful selection of wines to pair its delicious Italian food. Highly recommended!
