Enjoyable Food - Edit
Online Order to takeout, so not much opinion on facilities and staff. I seldom eat falafel, since I avoid fried food, but falafel here is baked AND it is lentil, not chickpea. I liked this. Spicy menu bean and spicy cashews also good. A fine option inTaipei, but I will probably continue shopping around.

Cons: Ordered takeout because I had not made a reservati

Eh - Edit
Raw vegan food is definitely great for the palette and body but that place is lacking consistency. I was server a pie that was still frozen so I had to wait 30 minutes for it defrost and eat. The noodle soup was mediocre at best and prices were on the higher side for mid tier quality food. Probably a skip next time I'm in Taipei.

Delicious Healthy cuisine. - Edit
I loved dining at this sophisticated little restaurant. The healthy international dishes are excellent quality. It is all organic too. I had a great falafel dish with hummus and quinoa. Menu is in English and Chinese, you have to scan a QR code to make your order using your phone. It is a bit expensive with an added service fee but still well worth it.

Good not great. - Edit
Lovely to eat at a vegan cafe after a week on the countryside. The green smoothie was amazing. The egg salad (chickpeas) pesto toast sounded really promising but tasted okay. Quite expensive.

Pretty decent food - Edit
The food was quite good, we had the Hummus platter as starter and the Tom Kha Soup as main. The soup was delicious, the hummus a bit too lemony.. in general there is a big focus on „healthy“ food. This aspect makes is also quite pricy.

My favorite in Taipei - Edit
I haven't been to every vegan restaurant in Taipei, but this is my current favorite, perhaps even tied with "Uncle Q's". I'd classify the food as Asian fusion or perhaps even California fusion! (I'm from California.) My dish, with Indian flavors, was so delicious I wanted to lick my plate... but courtesy prevailed. They also have Masal Chai and was super tasty. A must-visit.

Lacks any texture except soft - Edit
To put it simply, the flavours were very good but all the textures were the same: soft and squishy. There is so much focus on health food in the menu that I suspect Plants doesn't use much oil, and prefers baking over frying. The garlic fries have literally no bite to them, they are just soft. Same goes for the lentil falafel.
Read moreIt's an interesting menu, with antioxidant and superfood type of ingredients, but the experience ends up being very much one dimensional. Take the carrot cake - you could even add some crunch with nuts. That would still be simple and wholesome.
Pros: Flavours, Service , Does various cuisines
Cons: Expensive , Lacking textures , Desserts run out

Two people, one vegan and one carnivore.
Read moreWe got a mango curry for me then shared a chocolate mint bliss ball. After it was so tasty we ordered 8 more!!! (6 for tomorrow) a raw carrot cake and a chocolate cheesecake with blackberry jam.
I had a cinnamon hot chocolate and also to take away a small coconut yoghurt. The bill was under 2 000 taiwan dollar. It was so good!
Off the main street away from the pollution. The girls working were all really friendly. Helpful and spoke good English. They got a box for my bag to go into not on the floor. They turned the air con off as I was cold. Would return.

Healthy and nutritious - Edit
They use organic and local ingredients and prepare them with methods that boost their nutrition (e.g. activating nuts, sprouting seeds and beans, fermenting, and making raw food).
Read moreThe food was flavorful, well-balanced and satisfying, without being heavy or greasy. No sugar. My favourite dishes were their raw papaya wrap, vegetable korma and raw carrot cake.
They also have a variety of interesting kombucha flavors. I tried a few of them. All were good (not sweet) but my favorite was the Chamomile-Lavender one.

Fine but overrated, expensive - Edit
Western-style vegan place with a chill atmosphere. Decently large menu with a lot of raw stuff, if you're into that kind of thing. The food is fine, but not spectacular by any means, and it's quite expensive by Taipei standards. It mostly seems fairly healthy and it's pretty to look at. It can get quite busy here, and the service gets pretty slow when it does.

Delicious but pricey vegan diner - Edit
We hadn't made a reservation but showed up several minutes before opening and the nice staff seated us at the window-facing diner counter, which is still a good seat. The menu is easy to understand with not too many choices (a good thing imo).
Read moreWe ordered the beet tartare, egg salad, and a wrap. It was all really delicious, I especially liked the egg salad (the one I make is better, but still...) but as others have said the prices are high and portions are small. Prepare to leave hungry or spend a lot of money. Sadly we didn't try any of the desserts but many of them looked amazing.
The place was packed the whole time we were there - even about 6 other people were there with us before opening time. So make reservations or show up early to get the counter seats.
Pros: Delicious food, Nice atmoshere, Friendly staff
Cons: High prices , Small portions

Upmarket Western style yummy dishes - Edit
This place serves refined upmarket Western style food. Enjoyed their vegan cheese platter with fresh fruits, nuts that was part of the holiday menu. Also had the best rendition of chickpea 'egg salad' style toast. And they serve wines by the glass -- I found this to be rare in Taipei.
