Cute, cozy, tons of options in the cabinet or on the menu. Great coffee, too! We enjoyed the chocolate peanut butter mudcake, sausage roll, and yoyo biscuit. Will definitely visit again whenever we are in Christchurch!

I’ve been to Portershed about 3 times now, I would come more often if it was open on sundays! In saying that every time I have been it’s been absolutely amazing. Last week I got the corn fritters and it was such a beautiful and yummy dish. We also got fries which are the best I’ve ever had! I also love how they sell a range of vegan goodies to use at home and I even picked up a gorgeous metal straw for my smoothies which is so cool!!! Yummy milkshakes and smoothies too 👌🏻 I love it 💕

Cozy, comfy, warm atmosphere, super friendly staff and obviously delicious food and coffee! This place is always packed (in a good way) when we go, it's the kind of place you'd want to spend hours chatting with friends while enjoying a hot drink and some all vegan hearty food. This place is amazing. They have a beautiful and comfortable interior with nice furniture (I love sitting on the couches). They serve delicious hot chocolates with all kind of “milks”. The food is also really yummy (especially the breakfast). I recommend also bringing your own lunch box if you’re in a hurry and have your food to take away ! When I bring mine I didn’t had the chance to wash out the food from before but they were happy to do that and fill it with their food.

This place is incredible, the menu is so unique. A great opportunity to try vegan versions of classic NZ food as well as their own creations. The problem we had was that we stopped on the way to the airport so we grabbed lots of great stuff that would travel well. I wish we had the opportunity to try more of their hot items. Someone else called it an epic range of vegan options, they are right on. The staff is so nice and friendly. It is the kind of place you are so happy to give your business to.

We were looking forward to this place after driving from Hokitika and starving! Unfortunately the kitchen just closed, though it was about 2:30pm. Still the selection from the case and the desserts were amazing! Still worth the drive. I had a mushroom tofu pie and my husband had the chimichanga. Both were so Ono and so glad 100% vegan.

Went for lunch and loved everything about this place. Super friendly and welcoming staff, amazing cabinet options (including mains and desserts). Everything we ordered tasted great, including the pies, the smoothie, the latte, and dessert. Would definitely go back!

You HAVE to stop by Portershed if you're in christchurch. We had the best vegan burger ever, jackfruit sloppy joe. Then a custard cream donut and a double chocolate brownie from the extensive selection of desserts.

Great staff, cosy armchairs, and what very easily could be the best burger I've had in my life! Excellent atmosphere to just chill out for a bit. Definitely worth the short bus ride from the city centre. This place absolutely makes the list of must do's in Christchurch.

We had burger from the kitchen and a sammi from the cabinet, served with the best chips I've had in my life. Delicious iced coffee with macadamia and sunflower nut milk(?!). Desserts looked good but I was too full. Price appropriate, service friendly, cool decor.

What a gem of a place in a lackluster neighborhood. The menu is short but sweet and the staff is cheerful and friendly. I went for breakfast and take-away lunch on two separate locations. Excellent coffee and several nut mylk options including their own macadamia, watermelon seed mix. They have a breakfast and lunch menu plus a full counter of breakfast pastries and take-always for lunch. They also carry a small sample of market goodies like Dandies, homemade relish, nooch and some mixed bags of sweets (Swedish fish, Turkish Delight, Smarties, etc.).
