Pretty good - Edit
A decent plant-based menu. As others have noted, the flavor profile tends to be a bit too sweet.

disappointing :((( - Edit
I keep trying to eat here. As a vegan in DC, there arent as many vegan restaurants as there should be! so I try. But every time I go here, I GO here, if you catch my meaning. and I am not usually a sensitive stomach gal.

Bad and over rated - Edit
Most frequented bathroom in the city. Not sure how it’s so bad but damn would give it one star if I could.

Great variety, great flavor - Edit
Many options with all house made vegan meat substitutes. Lots of flavor from savory to spicy, Korean to SE Asian. Nice vibe. Order, sit, pickup and plenty of indoor seating with nice natural feel.

Very shocked - Edit
I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had here and that says a lot, as I travel frequently and eat out all the time.
Read moreBefore ordering, I asked if I could quickly use the restroom because I urgently needed to go. A staff member casually told me “yeah, go ahead,” without mentioning that a code was required. When I got to the restroom, I realized I couldn’t enter without a code, which made me feel misled. It would have been simple and honest to just tell me I needed to purchase something first.
When I returned, that employee was gone. Another staff member gave me a code, but it didn’t work, or at least I couldn’t get it to work, and no one was willing to properly help me. When the first employee came back, he told me I had to order first, with no understanding or empathy, even after I explained that I urgently needed to use the restroom and was about to order anyway.
I ended up ordering something quickly just to get access, but I wasn’t given a receipt with a code, and again, no one helped me when I asked. In the end, the only reason I was able to use the restroom was because another customer went in and came out, and I quickly went in without using a code at all, since no one from the staff was willing to help me.
The entire situation felt unnecessarily difficult, dismissive, and honestly quite humiliating. The way I was treated was so unfriendly and lacking basic human empathy that it actually brought me to tears.
As someone who has been vegan for many years, it genuinely pains me to leave a negative review for a vegan business, as I usually try to support them as much as possible. But this experience was, on a human level, one of the worst I’ve ever had in a restaurant.
Unfortunately, the food did not make up for it either. It lacked flavor, and what was supposed to be a protein component mostly tasted like oil and pepper.
Overall, this was a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience. I sincerely hope the staff can improve their communication, empathy, and basic customer care, because no one should be treated this way, especially over something as simple and human as needing to use a restroom.

Expensive and socially sterile - Edit
I got a bowl with a few frills that set me back nearly $20. But also it’s set up to feel sterile and bereft of humanity. This is my first time at a place where you pay a machine and not a person and I hate it. The seating area also feels like they want you to hate being in here. Food is fine. The workers I talked to are nice, so who knows why their overlords don’t want us interacting.

Overpriced but tasty - Edit
I like the atmosphere of this location better than the one on H Street. Portions don't match the prices in my opinion, but the options are nice.

Dirty and pricey - Edit
This isn't a sit-down restaurant which was what I was hoping for after walking around DC all day. It was loud, the few tables were dirty and I stepped on food. The food was kinda mid, it's definitely a healthy version of Asian food. If you do go, be aware that you can pour yourself cups of tap water instead of buying any expensive drinks if you prefer.

Fantastic bowl - Edit
I loved this plant based restaurant. I got a cauliflower bowl with Sriracha. It was spicy and delicious with lots of rice and veggies and breaded cauliflower. I could only eat half. Amazing food and so many options. Everything looked so good it was hard to choose. They also had fantastic lemonade and my hot tea was perfect!

Top-notch all-vegan fast-casual - Edit
Delicious and filling! We were a Wed. evening walk-in at the Franklin Square location and it wasn't crowded. Staff was polite. It's nice to get a fresh meal with a combination of different flavors so each bite is actually different. Punchy, bright, bold flavors. Prices are typical for downtown DC. We both arrived hungry: my "single" size meal filled me up and my spouse paid an extra $3 for the "regular" size which was so large she couldn't quite finish it. Look forward to coming back. Love to see a vegan fast-casual restaurant just a few blocks from a Metro stop!

Fantastic options! - Edit
I was in town for a conference and dinner here was a welcome contrast to the bland catering! The disco egg roll was fine, but my teriyaki chicken was fantastic! Perfect balance of protein and veggies with just the right amount of sauce. I ordered carry out because I wasn’t sure what the dine-in situation was like, but it was a large space with plenty of seating and beverages.

I had the Fried Chick'n Rice with double protein and it was a lot of food. Very tasty. I would have asked them not to put scallions, but no such option was provided. A good place for sharing with decent prices. The design of the place is fun. I found the lighting too white which would otherwise even make the place suitable for dates. Also they only provide single use cutlery.

Good! - Edit
i ordered the Sichuan dumplings and Mongolian beef with broccoli with chow mein. the dumplings were so good, they tasted great, the texture was satisfying (i got them fried), and their sauce was so yummy. the mongolian beef was good but it could've used some more flavor and sauce. it was a touch bland but i still enjoyed it.
