Pricey Sweets & Coffee - Edit
We just wanted treats and coffee. I tried to order at the bakery case, but the employee made us sit down for table service. We ordered two tahini chocolate chip cookies and a coffee. For some reason, we had to wait for the cookies even though they were a few feet away. I was shocked when we received the bill since I had overlooked the lack of displayed prices for the baked goods. The cookies were $7.25 each, and the coffee was $6.75! $21.25 plus $1.70 tax plus an expected tip for table service that we didn't even want. I won't be returning.

I will dream of their mushroom soup - Edit
After coming here last time we were in Philadelphia I was surprised to see some negative reviews as we had always had great meals here. No it's not inexpensive but we found value in every meal we've had . And let me tell you about the mushroom soup, it was a special but man oh man oh man, this is the best mushroom soup I have ever had, I also had some bread with it on another occasion and the bread, my goodness was it delicious.
Read moreAnd on top of that we've had absolutely wonderful service, sweet and attentive. We also had the meatball sandwich, and the rice bowl, both were large and filling and good. But dang that mushroom soup… it almost made me forget about the incredible desserts!

Healthy + Delicious - Edit
Don't be fooled by the cupcake in the cover photo, this place has plenty of great dining savory and sweet options depending on your mood. Everything is organic with a focus on more WFPB options. I enjoyed their forbidden bowl but if I were to come again, their meatball sub would be #1 to order. For dessert, we had banana bread and a cinnamon roll which were both amazing. I forgot that the banana bread was GF! Great spot to stop by after the ESP.

Delicious food, great service! - Edit
I had a fantastic lunch at PS&Co! The chickpea *meatball* hoagie is so good and filling that I had to get my dessert to go! I love the cozy atmosphere and the servers are so sweet. I don’t eat out often because I eat mostly organic, so I truly appreciate PS&Co providing organic, vegan, gluten free meals that I don’t have to cook 😉

Gluten free highway robbery - Edit
There is no reason to go here unless you don’t eat gluten and hate having money. I understand that GF is never going to be as good as wheat flour baked goods, but if my coffee is going to be $7 I should get a straw that holds up for more than two sips and sugar that doesn’t taste like burnt molasses.

Not as expected - Edit
I was hoping for something more. I came for a Sunday brunch and was very excited to try everything. We had a couple of juices and wanted to try the special. After I ordered the special about ten mins later I was informed it was sold out. I ordered my food without peppers but they were still in it. I guess I was hoping for something more.

Rude owner - Edit
The food is just okay for the prices. I liked the nachos, but over the years, their cake slices declined in quality. Most of them taste like they have the same base. Did I mention the prices are astronomical?
Read moreLast time I visited I was picking up an order. I arrived first thing in the morning and after the person at the counter rung me up, I mentioned that I forgot to enter my phone number for the rewards program. He wasn't quite sure if it could be entered retroactively and before I could thank him and leave, he went to get the owner.
She looked at the screen, then at me, and sighed "well I don't have the time to do this, I'm just so busy" (the restaurant was dead). I've never had such a rude encounter with someone at a restaurant before, let alone the owner. I don't really care that rewards points couldn't be entered retroactively, but I do care about being treated like garbage. It was clear to me that she didn't appreciate my business so I decided not to return.

Hello, we're so sorry you encountered an unwelcoming response. I'm afraid I don't recall this incident because I'm not often on-site and this isn't something I would say. Whether it was the owner or a manager who made you feel this way, it's unacceptable. I apologize you had such an experience. We can retroactively correct points on the Toast dashboard, but are unable to correct through the register. Only managers have permission to make such corrections. Exorbitantly expensive. Sell the kids and head on in! - Edit
We popped in for dessert and each ordered a $12 fruit tart. A delectable creation! I also savored a $6 golden milk.
Read moreI wouldn’t mind eating the rest of the place, but I would mind paying what they’re asking. $18 for an açaí bowl! $17 for avocado toast! I’m sure they’re all abnormally good, but yikes.
We loved the space and the vibe. It’s a really nice place to exist in.
Pros: Exceptionally delicious , Charming space, Lovely staff
Cons: Bank-breaking prices

Inedibly sweet and overpriced - Edit
Great service but the food was meh. I tried the amaranth porridge and blueberry protein muffin and found both aggressively sweet. The porridge was overly sweet and still topped with candied nuts and a jam that tasted like smuckers strawberry jam (fake and candy-like), so the combination was inedible for me.
Read moreThe muffin was nice flavor and texture wise. Lots of blueberries in there, which I loved, but again, way too sweet.
I would have gone for something savory, but I’m not a fan of soy and most things had tofu or tempeh. I feel like this place lacks some more wholesome options and could half the sugar in their recipes.
Prices also felt high for what the food was.
Overall, I won’t be returning.
Pros: Friendly service
Cons: Pastries and porridge are way too sweet, Few soy-free savory options , Overpriced

Just okay - Edit
Had the noodle soup and the stewed chickpeas - both were just okay. The chickpea dish was more of a warm salad, it was mostly kale which I still enjoyed but was not what I was expecting.

Weird - Edit
I would give this place one star if I could. The ‘caesar salad’ here was the worst I’ve ever had. A ton of hard kale, a ‘glazing’ that had zero flavour as the spicy BBQ sauce was just spicy, there was no other flavour. Just slabs of lukewarm tempeh, not properly grilled or even warmed up. Totally uncooked inside. The portion was big and tempeh blocks were really good size. But no flavour in the whole dish.

Yummy, Poorly-Labeled - Edit
The desserts are great, though they don't necessarily match traditional counterparts. For exampls, the "scones" were moist inside - more of a dense cake than the traditional dry/crisp texture of a scone or soda bread. Still quite yummy, though!

Best vegan GF flatbread - Edit
Flatbread was my favorite. It had a chewy gluten-like bite that I miss with most GF bread. The sweets were a little too sweet for my taste, but very flavorful. A bit expensive, but worth it if you're looking for high quality vegan, GF, organic everything.

Every Single Thing is Incredible - Edit
I often crave the nachos, forbidden bowl, and mango lassi. Despite having had all of them many times, they are always delicious and always hit the spot. My go to sweets are the jam thumbprint cookie and black bean brownie, but everything else I have tried is amazing. I am always super excited when the fruit and pumpkin tarts are available! The owner and staff are so kind and thoughtful and make every visit enjoyable and relaxing.

The place is super cute but SO EXPENSIVE. They told me it was $17 for a slice of cake and I was like what?!? Everything is vegan, gf and organic but $17 is a stretch. The staff is also not the most friendly…but could be worse. The food was good but not worth the price

Great concept, needs some work - Edit
So exciting to find a place that’s all organic, vegan, and GF! Unfortunately it ended up missing the mark for us. The savory food was tasty but very salty. Most of the sweets were good too, but many of them taste very similar because so many nuts are used in most of them.
Read moreIt’s also very expensive, even for what it is. I’m not even seeing these prices at similar cafes/bakeries in NYC and LA — so that’s really saying something. Hopefully those profits are being invested back in the company because it’s a great idea but needs work.
Pros: All organic/vegan/GF!, Cute venue, Variety of food/drinks
Cons: Expensive $$$$ (even for what it is), Nice staff but overall weird vibe , Too heavy/rich
