An environmental cafeteria/restaurant in a colorful & relaxing space with background music. The menu changes weekly so doesn't have permanent vegan dishes clearly labeled, but every week out of 8 dishes prepared at least half are always clearly labeled vegan. The furniture is mostly made with wood or other natural materials. Food is seasonally based and the vegetables and fruits used come from sustainable agriculture. Reported open February 2024. Open Mon-Sat 08:00-17:30. Closed Sun.

We had lunch here. With not too many options open on Monday we were happy to find this spot.
Read moreThe restaurant was very busy at 13h30. We waited and got a table in a few minutes.
Tip, the QR code on the table leads you to the weekly menu that you can put in English.
We had the tasting menu with bean pasta, grilled pumpkin with cabbage and baked carrots.
We also ordered the broccoli soup and the chicory greens.
All in all good portions and good flavours.
For eating in a sustainable restaurant we were greatly surprised with the amount of disposables, including all the plates. What a waste...

Regarding sustainability and the use of disposable plates, you need to know that all of our disposables are compostable so they can generate agricultural fertilizer. They are made by not using limited resources such as water and in this way we reduce enourmously the waste of our precious water for washing plates and cups which is our ambitious aim.

The menu on the blackboard didn't indicate what was vegan. But the friendly staff told us what was vegan and what could be made vegan. We were also given a paper menu which indicated what was vegan.
Read moreWe both chose the pasta dish which could be made vegan by subsituting the type of pasta. For 10 euros, you get a big bowl of pasta, bread, water and coffee.
The food was plentiful (we couldn't finish but, of course, had brought along containers to save what we couldn't eat for later) and very tasty.
I liked that the tables and chairs were made of cardboard, there is a eco-library and vegan pamphlets available. There is also outdoor seating.
We will definitely go back the next time we are in Turin.

Regarding your suggestions, we will work on them but understand that our mission is to get people to be more familiar with a vegetable diet and so we chose to give also vegetarian options for those who are still not convinced. We believe that a first step to reduce/eliminate meat in your daily meal can come to you easier this way.

Friendly atmosphere, busy and buzzing at lunchtime. Food was good just a bit of a shame everything served using disposable plates, bowls, cups etc. they were however compostable rather than plastic.

Very friendly owner and staff in a vegetarian restaurant based on sustainable principles. We ate there twice and food was very good on both occasions. The menu varies according to what is seasonally available so you won't be eating meals with lots of food miles.
