Luchadoras - Edit
Durante la pandemia muchos restaurantes vegetarianos cerraron. Este es un de los poco que logró resistir. La mujer que atiende es una señora mayor y muy amable.

Decent but slightly bland - Edit
Located on the second floor of an apartment building, this cozy restaurant is an apartment turned into a public restaurant (from my table I had a view of the hallway and saw people coming home with groceries and such).
Read moreThe server was kind and thoughtful. I didn't speak a word of Spanish and the server (who I took to be the owner) was patient with me. I let her know I was vegan (via google translator) and she pointed out the vegan friendly dishes (and there were quite a few). As it was my first meal in the city (from Canada), I immediately went for the tacos. There were at least three or four other vegan options that she pointed out (in Spanish), but I couldn't tell what they were from the menu.
The food was decent. Slightly bland. It's a set menu with salad, soup, entree, and dessert for 75 pesos. It's a place to go in a pinch and I'd likely go back eventually for a quick meal. My suggestion though is to keep your expectations low.
I would give three stars for the cheap price, friendly service, and the cozy atmosphere.

Cozy, friendly, cheap but bland - Edit
The address in the app is correct, but the pin Google maps is a bit off. You should walk a bit further.
Read moreThe restaurant is really cozy, the ladies working there are friendly and the food is cheap. However, the food is bland. So if you are struggling to find something vegan, this is a good option, but not if you want to enjoy tasty food.
Pros: Cozy, Friendly staff, Cheap

Es un local vegetariano, con muchas opciones veganas. Tiene mucha experiencia en el centro histórico y no es una opción gentrificada como son la mayoría de los restaurantes a los que van los gringos.

Don't waste your time - Edit
I like to patronize vegetarian restaurants, but it's places like this that give vegetarian food a bad name.
Read moreGranted, it's a good deal. You get soup, salad bar, bread, side dish, main course, and a drink for about 80 pesos. The salad bar was okay. The soup was pretty good. My husband's enchiladas mole was inedible (and he'll eat almost any veg dish). The potato side dish was terrible, but barely edible if smothered in hot sauce. My drink was so sweet I couldn't drink it.
The atmosphere isn't bad, but the service isn't great.
I wish there were more vegetarian options in the Centro Historico. Even so, don't bother going here. Los Vegetarianos is not far away and, while the food there is nothing special, it's much better than this.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Terrible food
