Few + Tasty vegan options - Edit
The restaurant is on the 8th floor (not the 10th as stated in a previous review) of the Electra Hotel. For dinner there is no separate vegan menu, there are dishes labeled as vegetarian/vegan, with no distinction between the two. They are also mostly appetizers and salads, and mostly vegetarian, not very many vegan options.

1. Make reservations
2. Put in your map app Electra Roof Garden as the directions button here brings you to a location that is not the entrance to the hotel/restaurant
We ordered 2 appetizers - the couscous (which was closer to bulgur than couscous in our opinion but delicious either way), and the green salad, which were both wonderful.
After we ordered they brought us a sweet cheese dessert like thing, which the vegetarian and meat eater said was good. And they also brought us breads and olive oil, which were all vegan and very good.
For our main course, the only vegan/vegetarian option was the risotto, which I quite enjoyed, my boyfriend said it was good but not "wow".
In addition, we also ordered the celeriac salad (vegetarian, which I didnt try) but neither of the other 2 with me liked it, they both said it was bland and lacking in flavor, and we sent it back.
There was one vegan dessert optiom, something about almonds and piña colada, but Im not a big fan of piña colada, so we didnt get any dessert.
Overall the food was good, the service excellent, and the view amazing.
More vegan options would be nice, as would be that separate vegan menu they seem to have for lunch according to previous reviews, but does not seem to exist for dinner. Dont know if it still exists for lunch or not.
Pros: The view, Knowledeable staff, Delicious
Cons: No distinction between vegetarian/ vegan on menu, Expensive, Few vegan options

Perfect - Edit
This is a beautiful upscale restaurant on the 10th floor of the Electra hotel called the Metropolis Roof Garden (the direction button on this app sent us to the wrong place with similar name.) They had a vegan menu with 6 main dishes and 3 desserts. The food, service and ambience was perfect. I would definitely make reservations as even in off season they were very busy.

Upscale dining with amazing views - Edit
While vegan casual dining options are plentiful in Athens, finding somewhere for a "fancier" meal is a little tougher.
Read moreThe rooftop garden restaurant at Electra Metropolis offers amazing panoramic views across the city and of the Acropolis.
I was pleasantly surprised when the waiter brought me a special vegan menu when I asked about vegan options!
I had a late lunch so I'm not sure if the menu is all day or if they have something else for dinner. I had the ravioli and it was delicious!
Highly recommend! If coming for dinner, a reservation is likely a good idea.
Pros: Specific vegan menu on request, Amazing views, Attentive service
