Great Japanese food

Lovely staff and nice vibe in the restaurant. They have quite a few vegan options. I had the teriyaki tofu with a side of sesame seaweed and gobo chips. All were fantastic.
Would give 5 stars if I could

Amazing food and price.

Been here several times lately. The prices are very reasonable. The staff are kind and efficient. I would return.

Pricy and service a bit lacking but good food

I tried the vegan bento box - it’s very expensive at $41 but there was heaps of food and it was all really nice (some bits on the salty side though). I would have liked more attention from the staff too - I had to stop them to get my order taken and they never checked how my meal was so I don’t have a chance to order a second drink, which i would have. I would go back to try the wider menu - plenty of vegan options on there

Pros: Vegan options marked , Tasty food

Cons: Service inattentive, Expensive

So many delicious vegan options!

We were staying at a hotel next door and had no idea this place was right downstairs (inside the Cathedral Junction tram stop). They have a separate vegan menu with a ton of options. We ate there twice, and had the vegan bento box, boiled seasonal vegetables with sesame dressing, various sushi rolls, deep fried eggplant, and more. The vegan bento box includes teriyaki soy meat, vegetable tempura, steamed vegetables, soy katsu (cutlet), vegetable dumplings, miso eggplant, and rice. They have 'outdoor' seating too (which is really inside the huge tram station, so you're not exposed to weather) and they have heaters and blankets if you want to eat outside in cold weather. Lovely place!

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Large vegan selection, Great location
