Das Essen war top – besonders Süßkartoffel, Brokkolisteak und der vegane Schokokuchen. Preise sind höher, aber Qualität passt. Nur schade: unterschiedliche Aussagen zu veganen Zutaten an zwei Tagen haben für Verwirrung gesorgt.

The next day we went back to try-out other vegan food and I choose the aspargus (vegan so without the cheese) and the cauliflower steak. Both were delicious. At the end we both ordered the vegan chocolate dessert. Amazing but not a light dessert, maybe better to share 😉

We were kind of surprised to find a place around Pula with a good amount of vegan options. It tasted all so good. We took the mezze plate as starter, and some small dishes to share and ended with the chocolate dessert.

Creative and tasty vegan dishes - Edit
This place really deserves to be praised. It offers clearly labeled vegan dishes that we found really well executed and creative. The staff is kind and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxing. There are also a few vegan desserts - all sorbets are vegan, as well as the chocolate cake. We will definitely come back.

Wir waren Gestern dort zum Abendessen und waren begeistert es gibt einige Vegane Optionen, alles was wir Bestellt hatten war sehr lecker. Der Hausgemachte Eistee ist sehr zu Empfehlen. Haben für Morgen gleich wieder Reserviert. Unser Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in der Gegend.

Has many vegan options, different starters and desserts. Very delicious, nice ambience. Some dishes are not vegan by default but the menu declares that a vegan option is available. 4/5 highly recommended would do again

Read moreThe meze was delicious (order bread to go with it) and I especially liked the baked sweet potato dish (two different visits). It was beautifully presented with edible flower decoration and tasted delicious.
My (veggie) husband enjoyed the potato one day and the vegan burger the next. The latter was a bean/lentil burger rather than the standard offering of a shop-bought meat substitute and had lots of filling.
I'd definitely recommend the place - staff were polite and helpful too. We only had to find lunches twice so didn't try anywhere else in Medulin, even though it was a little walk away from the marina/main area.

A modern (but not "too modern") take on classic Miditerranean dishes. There are a few small dishes and one large dish available as vegan options. We opted for the vegan meze, stuffed seeet potato and burger. The potato and meze were really nice, but thr burger was mediocre. My non-vegan parents were also satisfied with their food. The ambience is nice, altough not with a direct sea view. The staff was friendly. I would definitelly come back.

Salt & Pepper is a popular and big place with quite the stylish interior. Reservation in advance (in high season around 2 nights before) is recommended. The vegan options on the menu are some starters, the burger and one dessert. It doesn't sound like a lot but in this area it is lol. I had the Vegan Meze & Sweet potato, good sized portions and very tasty.

Honestly, wasn’t expecting much from a restaurant that mainly serves meat, but i was very pleasantly surprised! There are about 5 ‘small plate’ options (which cam be both a starter or main course, and 1 burger (apart from fries, salad etc) . I had three small plates and they were amazing. Was very surprised. They had a vegan truffle cheese, stuffed pepers and a tofu-paté. Everything tasted great. Definitely recommend coming here, especially given the limited vegan choices in and around Pula.

Nice place to eat. Large terrace with lots of shade to relax. The few vegan options are good. Price is as expected a bit high but not crazy. Waiters spoke English and even helped me with my bicycle up the stairs. Will go again if I have time
