Few flavors, one was good - Edit
Sampled all flavors, but only the coconut one was creamy. Nice that they have it tho. I asked about the sprinkles and was told they're vegan so that's nice!

Apparently this place gets so busy sometimes that their line wraps around the block - luckily we came at a good time and didn't have to wait at all!
Read moreStaff are obviously super knowledgeable about their menu: they knew exactly which options were vegan without looking, and told us that the waffle cone is NOT vegan but the sugar cone is. And since the sugar cone is smaller, the server offered to put it and the scoop into a bowl (so I feel like we really got more!)
They also knew the exact protocol for scooping our ice cream to avoid cross-contamination with cashew: they scooped from a separate container in the back with clean utensils. So grateful they had their process down pat and were friendly while doing it.
Ice cream was tasty and one scoop + cone was more than enough of a sweet treat for me and my husband to share. Highly recommend!
Pros: accommodating to nut allergy, friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious ice cream flavor that wasn't just gelato
Cons: wish they had more vegan flavors

Delicious ice cream - Edit
I've been a fan of Salt & Straw for a long time. Since I've been experimenting Vegan foods I thought I'd see what they have here. They had a coconut sherbet and a freckled mint chocolate chip ice cream. I went with the ice cream. I thought it was very good. It's just as good as their dairy flavors. The line here is sometimes long but it moves fast. If you're ever in Little Italy come check this place out.
