We had the large plate but the woman next to us had a bowl, which, if you wanted a bigger portion would be the wider choice.
Pros: Lots to choose from , All tasted great. , Reasonable priced.

One of my favourite places that we ate at during our visit to Cologne! Just gutted we found it on our last day, as we would have visited more than once. Great selection of dishes. Highly recommend.

Nous sommes allés manger deux midis d'affilée chez Sattgrün ce weekend et nous sommes très contents de nos repas ! C'est vraiment une excellente formule buffet pour un tarif raisonnable ! On paie en fonction de la taille de l'assiette ou du bol. Les plats sont savoureux bien qu'un peu gras pour certains. Ce n'est pas toujours évident de trouver une place quand il y a du monde comme ce samedi mais il y a une terrasse couverte qui offre davantage de place. Le personnel suit bien au niveau des plats. Dès qu'un plat commence à se vider, il est remplacé en 2-3min, ce qui est vraiment appréciable ! Nous n'avons pas testé les pâtisseries car nous n'avions vraiment plus faim mais elles avaient l'air délicieuses aussi ! C'est vraiment notre endroit favori pour manger à Cologne et de plus, le resto a une position assez centrale quand on se rend aux marchés de Noël ou quand on fait du shopping. Nous reviendrons !

Eigentlich kann man mit einem Sattgrünlokal nichts falsch machen. Die Auswahl ist gut, die Speisen lecker, am Buffet war alles aufgefüllt. Das Platzangebot in Köln ist sehr überschaubar. Hier wären 2-3 Tische weniger, für mein Empfinden, besser gewesen. Alles sehr gedrungen und beinahe Schoß auf Schoß.

Das Essen schmeckt lecker und frisch und war die perfekte, gesunde Stärkung für den weiteren Teil unseres Städttrips.
Zum Menü gibt es Wahlweise ein Glas Wasser oder Apfelschorle.
Preis war in Ordnung.

Ich finde die Idee eines Buffets super, aber leider hat es mir nicht so gut geschmeckt. Vielleicht lag es daran, dass auf dem Teller vieles miteinander vermischt wird, aber meinen Geschmack hat das Essen nicht getroffen..außer der frittierte Tofu, der war super. Leider wusste ich das vorher nicht und es ist ja kein Buffet in dem Sinne, dass man sich nochmal nachnehmen könnte.

Wir waren nur übers Wochenende in Köln, trotzdem waren wir zweimal im Sattgrün. Die Auswahl ist super, das Essen sehr lecker und die Angestellten total nett. Richtig schade, dass es das in München nicht gibt!

Don’t know why but all the photos people have put on here don’t look very appetising… However the food is absolutely wonderful! Every single thing on our plate was delicious, we could have easily had a whole plate of each and been delighted. Not a single disappointing item. Something for everyone here I’m sure. Wife particularly loved the stroganoff!

Read moreLots of great food. Chilled salads, pasta, and teriyaki “beef” strips. Warm dishes of stews and curries. Wonderful roast potatoes. We had a large plate each and tried almost everything. Too much.
You can share so you have all the options without eating too much.
Beer reasonably priced. Nice outdoor seat area for warm days. Smaller inside. Also cakes and coffee but no room to try.

Es gibt viele kreative Fleischalternativen. Allerdings ist es sehr einseitig (es gab 3-4 Versionen von Sojageschnetzeltem). Es wäre schön, wenn es mehr Optionen neben Fleischalternativen gäbe, da die Preise schon recht hoch sind.

I have been to different locations before but not this one. It is a nice restaurant with a big and fairly quiet terrace. The food was really good as usual, I just wish there was some more variation between the dishes bc it’s mostly the same every time you go.
