Excellent Food, Friendly Staff

I was happy to find this cafe, but am surprised to see it listed as a vegan restaurant it is not. It is vegetarian with mostly vegan options. They were selling cow milk yoghurt and i witnessed one of the staff members go onto the backyard!and retrieve a chicken egg (there were two beautiful chickens in the backyard) and proceed to bring it to my table to show me the egg, obviously quite proud.
That says, the daily menu that I ordered, was excellent and all vegan with nothing having to be altered. They also have a little produce store there, including some fresh local carrot juice. There are about six parking spaces out front and lots of dining space both inside and out. I highly recommend.

Cons: Not all vegan as reported

Best Vegan Cafe in Fujinomiya!!!

I love everything about this cafe! They serve up delicious vegan entrees that you can choose a small portion of each entree and they serve the food to you in traditional Japanese presentation.. They serve Miso soup (vegan broth) as well. They also have 3 white fluffy Japanese hens or roosters in the back yard!

Pros: Delicious Vegan Entrees!, Friendly and fun staff!, Cinnamon cashews sprinkled with brown sugar!

Traditional japanese vegan food

This is also a shop, so they will ask you whether you are shopping or want to eat there. You can choose three or more dishes from the counter, which will be served together with rice and miso soup. You pay upfront with cash. Water can be refilled by yourself for free.

Pros: Exceptionally kind staff, They will try to speak english, Traditional

Cons: a bit far away, if it's not on your route
