Impressive offer - Edit
So far, I have been there twice (2020 and 2024) and still cannot decide on a rating. The menu is impressive, and the ambience is nice, but the food is not perfect. On my last visit, the hollandaise on my benedict was definitely too salty, and my biscoff flat white had too much syrup and, therefore, tasted bitter. Need to come back to try their cakes, too.

Pros: All vegan
Cons: A bit of a walk from the city centre

Very tasty breakfast - Edit
We ordered Paula’s special toast and the Scottish benny.
Read moreThe Benny was a nice size for a breakfast. Really saucy and smoky.
The Paula’s toast was a bigger portion and very filling. The bacon they use here has a really good smoky flavour.
It seems as though everything is made fresh to order so service is a little slow. It took a good 30 mins to arrive and we were the only people in at the time

Comida deliciosa, aberto grande parte do dia - Edit

food out of a packet - Edit
I came here in the past a lot as it’s my local vegan restaurant but I was always disappointed by how processed the food is. Lots of fake meat (not homemade), beans out of a tin, crazy prices. Seeds for the soul makes it sound like a whole foods restaurant but it’s really not. .Better burgers at nearby holy cow lounge are made from scratch.

Perfect food - Edit
Simply delicious. We finally had proper food in Edinburgh. The falafel bowl is amazing, as well as the burguer and the fries. I give it a 10, also the service was very nice. Thanks a lot.

Not for me - Edit
Unfortunately, I didn’t like this restaurant. The food wasn’t for us, we weren’t able to eat what we ordered because the flavours were too strong and we didn’t expect it. The person who I guess was the owner was unfriendly to me and that made the experience even worse.

Absolutely delicious! - Edit
We went as a family of 4 - two under 5s. The "pink hummus" was a hit with both kids! It's nice to go somewhere that the kids' options aren't just chips, they actually had smaller versions of the adult meals.

Cosy place - Edit
Super nice breakfast and lunch spot a little off the busy city centre. Had a vegan full English breakfast and pancakes and although I had better breakfast here in Edinburgh, it was filling and fine.

Beautiful place, great food! - Edit
We got a great table under “the future is vegan” sign. Food was lovely. I think the Burgers are probably more value for money. Salads and bowls are a little overpriced for what it is. However, lovely setting, great staff. Check it out!

Nicest bagel I've ever had - Edit
I ordered a bagel with mushrooms, red onion, hummus, rocket, tamari, sweet chilli sauce, salt and cracked black pepper and wow 😍 it was by far the nicest bagel I have ever tried. This wasn't actually on the menu however the girl taking my order was really friendly and helpful allowing me to swap some of the fillings. I would definitely recommend they put this on the menu as it was amazing. It's one of those dishes I keep thinking about weeks later! My non-vegan boyfriend had the breakfast pancakes and said it was one of the nicest pancake dishes he'd ever had. 10/10 would recommend going here.
Read moreRevised here again and ordered the same bagel it was that good! Also tried the salt and pepper chips and a green bowl which did not disappoint! The broccoli was delicious.

Delicious burgers and chips - Edit
We had burgers that were delicious! In addition, the salt & chilli chips were one of the best chips we’ve ever had. The place is fully vegan and there are many options, also a separate list for special dishes. They also serve breakfast, which we have to try one day!

Disappointing - Edit
Great location and nice interior but left feeling disappointed. I went for the full English, it came with toast & tattie scone that were dry, I had to ask for some vegan butter. The tofu scramble was really bland, so I asked for salt & pepper. The vegan bacon was too salty, overall I've had better vegan breakfasts at non-vegan places which is sad but true. As a vegan I want to support wholly vegan places, but they need to deliver on taste.
