Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time or probably ever! I got the French onion, which was a special and it was huge and delicious and really filling. Despite being busy, the owner took their time explaining some of the sandwiches to me and warned me that they were taking a little longer than usual to get orders out, but the wait time felt totally reasonable and definitely worth it. I ate inside, which does have limited seating but that was fine since a lot of people seem to order to go. But it’s not far from Maria Hernandez Park so I’d take my sandwich there next time! Seriously cannot wait to go back.

Read moreOne thing I’ve missed since going vegan is the ease of going into a sandwich shop or deli - seitan’s helper has all the taste (with some added artisanal flavors) without any of the animal products!
I had the comeback special while my friend had the vegan chicken Caesar wrap. Both were delicious. We were most impressed with the portion of the food for the price. Full 5 stars, I’d highly recommend.

We made a special trip to check this place out, and you should, too. Our sandwiches were delicious and generously sized. They had layers of lovingly house-made components. We got one special and one from the regular menu. Just order whatever looks good to you- everything is fantastic.

The Best Sandwiches - Edit
I will come back here every time I’m in town. I want to try all the sandwiches. I had one of the specials, The Candlestick. It was absolutely amazing. Great flavor and excellent bread. Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Love this little place.

I avoided this place for about two years because I always went to A.T.M vegan, but they were closed one day and I decided to go here for once. Absolutely glad I did. The Morning Star sandwich I had was absolutely delicious and the triple 3 sandwich was good as well. I will definitely be returning.

Literal best sandwiches I have ever had - Edit
I can’t say enough good things about this place. Firstly, the food is knock out good, my husband and I literally moan with each bite; that’s how good it is. Everything is homemade with such care. The two owners are the sweetest people in the world; I feel seen and so welcomed every time I come in. My husband and I head all the way here from Astoria, Queens! I’m not being dramatic when I say that Seitan’s truly deserves an award or some kind of recognition. Almost every person that walks in here when I’m there is smiling and so happy to be there. Such amazing vibes. I adore this place.

Great vegan deli. The Triple Threat (Italian sandwich) ruled. Perfect flavor balance. Fresh. 10/10. I bought a bunch of slices to go to make this sandwich at home. The macaroni salad was great. And the people working there were friendly and helpful. Can't recommend it enough. I wish this place was in my town.

I loved Seitan's Helper. I had two of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. Their seitan meat is absolutely delicious. The Triple Threat sandwich was my favorite with mortadella, salami, pepperoni, vegan cheddar, red onion, roasted red peppers, banana peppers, greens, mayo, vinaigrette on a focaccia hero. Their bread is also baked fresh as well, so bonus points for that. The deli itself is a cool vibe and very Brooklyn! They also have rotating specials.
