Amazing authentic Indian food - Edit
We had a fantastic vegan meal here in January 2024 - the Hyderabad Biriani was a particular highlight

Pros: Viel Auswahl , Gute Beratung , Sehr freundlich

Tasty food but a bit overpriced - Edit
Food was great I must say. The pin on the map is in a wrong place, when you are there you have to look out for signs as it is not on the main road. The prices are not really different from what you can find in restaurants on the beach, that was a bit disappointing.

good - Edit
The place is basic but food is good. I wouldn't say it's the best vegetarian I had but it's good and potions are generous enough. The service is friendly and polite and the prices are reasonable (it's still a tourists area after all)

Affordable, authentic, tasty food! - Edit
This place doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that put you off! It's a cosy, welcoming, family-run pure veg restaurant located on the main road through Palolem, away from the beach.
Read moreIn town where everything has meat or fish in it, this restaurant is such a blessing and they fully understand what vegan is - even 13-year-old Anil who helps his parents out in the restaurant.
We came here every day during our time in Palolem and each time was as delicious as the last. Authentic, flavourful, no frills Indian food is what it's about here and we particularly enjoyed the masala dosa, uttappa, thali, aloo paratha and mushroom manchurian. Great portion sizes, too!
Highly recommended!
Pros: Cheap, Lots of vegan options, Family run

Basic Indian menu - Edit
I don´t know why this restaurant is not so inviting, maybe because the food is basic Indian vegetarian food and the prices are the same as in the beach restaurants, where the atmosphere is nicer. But this is a vegetarian restaurant, so it should be better to dine here. But very near are restaurants Zest and Brown Bread, which I like more.
Read moreWe had a dhal with rice, one south Indian thali and one north Indian thali. But the thalis were the same except south Indian had one dish more and it was a little more expensive.
This is located by the main road at Palolem Beach, not by the beach, but by the road that has many shops and restaurants along it and busy traffic. Be careful when you walk there and never walk side by side.
It was strange that the restaurant was empty when we went there, it was busy December. I think they started this restaurants because there are more and more domestic tourists coming to Palolem. So I suppose this place is visited more by Indians than foreigners.
Pros: Basic food
Cons: Not anything special
