Unpleasant experience - Edit

We came for lunch. When I asked the owner if the curry was vegan, she immediately got loud saying that there were no vegan options available. After an unpleasant discussion she stated that there was no milk or fish in the curry, from which I concluded that it must be vegan. I’m am still not sure though. Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. There are really friendlier and better set up restaurants in Saarbrücken.

Cons: Unfriendly , Inflexible , Not trustworthy

No vegan options! - Edit

I sat down and found that of the 40 menu items only one seemed vegan - the curry. But when I asked the waitress about vegan options she answered “We have nothing vegan.” I clarified what vegan was and that according to menu, the curry must be vegan and she said it had cow milk in it, even though it wasn’t listed as an allergy. So I left.
One comment here said the spring rolls were vegan - but I asked and was told they contained egg. They wouldn’t make any changes to make a dish vegan.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: No vegan options, Menu misleading

No explicit vegan options! - Edit

The restaurant has no vegan options, there is a single dish (vegetable fried rice) which can be veganised by removing the egg. The spring rolls and curry triangles are egg washed and the soups contain fish sauce. I cannot recommend the location for vegans.
