So much choice! - Edit
It was really difficult to choose! We had the satay skewers, the lemon "chicken", the "pork" with steamed buns and salt and pepper tofu. Everything was really good and it's full of locals so you know it must be good!

Friendly host, great options - Edit
The host was very welcoming, spoke good English and helped us a lot. Gave my wife a fork and spoon without her asking or getting embarrassed. The chicken skewers and steamed buns were immense, spring rolls were okay and large plate of noodles not to my liking but my wife really enjoyed.

Casual cafe for a nice lunch - Edit
We got 40% off for going off peak time during the week. We had monkey head mushrooms that came with brocoli and had a dish of avocado and truffle rice. We also ordered deep fried bean curd which were OK but probably could have done without!

Tasty vegetarian food but toilet can be improved - Edit
We ordered steam rice with mushroom toppings, shredded vegan chicken (salad), and a mushroom soup. All are delicious. The restaurant is full even at 8pm, which shows it popularity.

Great food and open late - Edit
We only tried a few of the dishes as we had arrived into Hong Kong late due to flight delays.
Read moreAs others have suggested the skewers with peanut sauce are yum, but the standout dish for us was the Broccoli hot pot, super hearty and delicious.
We will definitely be going back while we are in HK.

Yum yum yum ! - Edit
We are so glad we went here on our last night of our HK vacation, and we only wish we had discovered it sooner. The BBQ Pork Spare Ribs has been a childhood favorite of mine, and I knew it would be something I’d miss since giving up meat. I actually ordered it on accident, as they call it by a name here than what I know it by. And what a happy accident it was !!

Great variety of tasty dishes - Edit
Sino has a great variety of vegan / vegetarian dishes. Traditional Chinese dishes as well as many - what is called in the west - alternative protein dishes. The vegan sushi had a boring taste, looks great though :). But I didn't expect much of it and just wanted to try it. All the other food was great.

Nice place - Edit
Good, fresh food, my favourite, are the kebeb stewers with spicy peanut sauce(not really spicy).
Read moreA pity they have only big portions, so if you are alone and want to try different things, it will be very costly.
They should make a mixed single platter, like an Indian Thali.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, set lunch 50 HKD, The place itself, yummy food , Friendly owner
Cons: If you are alone, its tricky, big portions , A bit costly if you are alone, They should offer also small portion

Great Hong Kong style vegetarian venue - Edit
I went there and ordered stir-fried green beans and deep-fried tofu chunks. The service was quick, the staff extremely friendly and considerate, and dish sizes are more than satisfying. Be careful though: most dishes in the English menu are not marked "vegan", "vegetarian", "mock" etc. and are simply labelled under their non-vegan name. While, of course, all "meat" and "fish" is meatless and fishless, it is uncertain whether the "cheese" is in fact vegan or regular cheese. Other than that, this is a very good vegetarian option if you happen to be passing between Jordan and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon (and I found it to be much better than the Lotus Veggie restaurant, which is just a 1-minute walk away in Ning Po Street).

Good, interesting meals. No meat, repeat no meat. - Edit
All meats mentioned are meat free. If you are unsure, just ask. I had grilled monkey head fungus. Nice. Other options included toast with avocado and beetroot paste - you could paint with that! I'm going back.

Try the ala carte buffet - Edit
They serve ala carte buffet items at HKD$78 for lunch, $88 dinner. Made to order. However the menu is in Cantonese so you will need a friend. The servers aren't very courteous, don't expect them to explain the menu in English to you. They will yell at you if you order 12 items at once. But over all every item is delicious, decent price. Will visit again.

I was disappointed - Edit
Even though the name says "vegetarian" the place serves meat. They have some vegan dishes, but not too many and they were not tasty + the restaurant is over priced

Hi, I had a bit of confusion here when I first went but everything on the menu is actually vegetarian. When it says 'pork' it is just imitation pork. I can understand without knowing this the menu would seem pretty limited. I found their imitation meats to be really nice, and I ususally am not a fan of fake meat.

Sino Vegetarian, Hong Kong - Edit
I ate here last night as part of a group of 17 with the Meat Free Hong Kong group in meetup.com. The restaurant dishes up great food. All 13 dishes were vegan tasted great. At 125 hkd per person this worked out as a pretty good deal. we had a lot of full and happy people at the end.

The location is right at the end of Parkes St on the corner of Saigon St. It's maybe 2 mins walk from exit A of Jordan MTR.
It's a Chinese place in which as others have said there are things on the menu to indicate use of eggs, cheese, butter.
I went for the mix vegetables in curry sauce. Very nice and a decent sized portion. It was 68 bucks (I didn't order any rice). When I was sat at the table I was presented with a small nibbles dish with some marinated tofu. That cost 9 bucks. I declined the tea so that when they added 10% the total bill was 85 hkd.
There we 3 menus. One was in Chinese and English, the other 2 in Chinese only (supplemented with pictures).
I enjoyed my food here and worth considering if you are in this area.
Pros: Vegan friendly, Great food

Undercooked and greasy - Edit
Ordered some fried rice with some fake meats and some of the ingredients were WAY undercooked..
Read moreThe spring onions were still hard and woody, so were the green beans and not to speak of the large chunks of ginger and to top it of it was covered in a layer of fat that made me feel really bloated.
I would not recommend anyone this place..

Packed and Lively - Edit
Place was packed with locals. Nice variety of mock meats. I ordered a plate the provides a sampling of six different mock meats that they serve, all prepared differently. A good intro to the restaurant. My food was neither spicy nor greasy. It was an excellent meal. The place is at the upper end of moderate, once you add a tea charge (never saw this on the mainland) and a 10% service charge. But it was an excellent meal.
