Amazing experience

Sikh temple offering a free vegan breakfast every morning from 7:30 to 10:30. You need to take off your shoes and cover your head with a (provided) headband. You get a metal tray and can fill it with chapatis, white and yellow rice, dahl and curry. Best Indian food we had in a while. We’ve seen locals taking up to 8 chapatis and lots of food so help yourself but keep in mind that this is also a charitable organization, not an all-you-can-eat buffet for tourists.
They also offer chay and some pink beverage but not sure if they contain milk or not.
You eat in silence while the Granthi gives some lecture on the upper floor, which is streamed in the eatery. You eat directly on the floor but elderly and sick people can eat at the tables. You can take your time to eat but when you are done you are expected to move. You can go to the upper floor to listen to the lecture and see the Sikh holy book.
It is forbidden to bring meat in the building.
There is almost no tourist, this is a very rewarding local experience and a good introduction to the Sikh religion.

Pros: Very rewarding experience , Very tasty food , Free
