So many choices

This place has a lot of vegan options on the menu. Some are marked with a V, and others state they can be made Vegan upon request. There are also a couple curries that say they can be made dairy free upon request, which I found confusing. Why not vegan? Anyway, we tried the Aloo Muttar and Mutter Tofu (it’s on the menu as Muttar Paneer but they make it dairy free and use tofu). We ordered the maximum spice, and my partner thought the Aloo Mutter was too spicy, but I thought the spice level was just right. YMMV We both agreed that there were too many potatoes and not enough peas. The Mutter Paneer had a creamy sauce and was therefore very mild, even though we ordered the same spice level for both. If you’re spice shy, then maybe try a creamy dish. Overall, we enjoyed the food and will likely be back to try more of their menu. Might try the vegan Momos next time!

Pros: That one spicy chutney , Spice level 🔥

Cons: Roti a little dry

Always a good option

Spice Room stands out from a lot of the other Indian restaurants in Denver because of its extensive vegan options and because they offer tofu.

I love chickpeas, but sometimes tofu hits the spot. On some of the dishes the tofu is bland (seems like they just toss it in without directly cooking) so it could be better but overall it’s still a great spot.
