"Vegetarian Tiger" operates several branches in Beijing - this one is near Qianmen station just beyond the southwest corner of Tiananmen Square. Large space with plenty of seating. Serves a la carte Chinese style soups and dishes with mushrooms, tofu, mock meats, vegetables, and noodles. Also offers option for all-you-can-eat. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm. Buffet available until 8pm.

After a month in Beijing eating very little, I discovered this place and got overexcited by the ridiculous amount of options and but then I ate way too much and was sick. But that’s because It’s so good. You get so much for around the £7 mark. Got to try a mix of Chinese dishes which were veganised that I missed out on, and western food too. Also a mr whippy machine, loads of desserts and drinks. #Veganuary

huge selection and very tasty dishes! we went once and then came back on another day (so two dinners in row, we got to tasty plenty dishes!). many many variatians of tofu, many soups, loads of veggies and a few western options. the buffet closed at 20:30 but they let you sit there and finish eating until 21. after the buffet closed, all the staff eats from what is left, and this was so nice to see

Best buffet dining experience!! It was so hard to select what to eat since I wanted to try everything they had to offer. They have a variety of drinks too. You can also make your own hotpot. They offer a lot of Chinese and some international dishes as well. There’s a lot of desserts to select from too. Loved every bite and bit of this experience!

We came here twice. It felt like a tourist experience in itself. 130 vegan dishes to choose from (all you can eat buffet), from tacos and fries, to hot pot, fake meats, salads, to soft serve icecream! I ate Chinese food and my teenage son gravitated to the bread and fried potato.

All you can eat buffet style restaurant for 78 RMB pp. So mamy veggie and vegan options of traditional dishes and no chance of accidentally finding bacon in your veggie dish! Choice of buffet, snacks, hot pot, soups, dim sum and vegan deserts. Lots of drinks and tea. Lots of tofu and seitan varieties. We tried having a bit of everything, most of the food was delicious! Left absolutely stuffed. Staff are super friendly and helpful, speak some English. Shame we came here on our last day in Beijing because we would definitely go back again.

We love this place and ate here three times during our 5 days in Beijing! The food can get quite oily if you choose alot of beige items, but generally the food is amazing with 130 options! All vegan :)

If you’re starving because you had trouble finding vegan food since arriving in Beijing, this is the right spot. You have to wait a bit because there is a lot of people, but then there are lot of vegan typical Chinese food. Lots of fake meat. The desserts might be a bit disappointing but we had a great time at this all-you-can-eat buffet. We ate probably too much but weren’t sick at all.

The selection of vegan foods is amazing, we couldn't eat enough to try everything there were so many options. There are even desserts and drinks included, everything was labelled in English but knowing it's vegan was so relaxing, you can try all the different Chinese flavours without worrying what's inside.
