Wow, is this place amazing! Sooo many options to try, so creative, the ingredients tasted so fresh, it was just out of this world delicious!!! My non vegan family members also raved about it!

Give yourself as bigger budget as you can and go for it!
A rather long wait but more indicative of how popular it is on a Saturday night the attention to detail paid to preparing the food (if you're sitting at the bar you get a peek into how the sausage is made ;))
And being primarily sushi there is of course lots of gluten free options

Best Vegan Sushi Ever - Edit
Simply stated . . . the best vegan sushi we have ever had. She is vegan and I am pescatarian. Given that I do eat fish and most often have it as sushi, I would say that Sushi Momo is some of the best sushi rolls I've had. We also had the oyster mushroom shooters which were great. The staff were friendly and when we had questions about the sake the waitress sent out a young lady that was very knowledgable. We told her what we like, she helped us select a bottle and we were thrilled with it.
Read moreAlso, the yelp page says no outside dining, but they did have outside dining and that is where we sat. I imagine they may close the outside dining for the winter so I would call and ask if that is what you prefer

Read moreEasy ordering online, picked up my order (it was ready a few minutes early; welcoming, friendly staff), walked back to my accommodation within 10 minutes, and tucked in. Very good miso soup. Two kinds of sushi rolls in the dinner-for-one Odoroki combo meal - attractively presented and very tasty. I also had a brownie, which was good and fudgy, with an orangey sauce, and a can of Japanese-inspired beer, a refreshing lager made with ginger and Japanese pepper (sansho), which is brewed at a local Montreal artisan brewery.
I plan on exploring more of the menu in my remaining time in Montreal. ...Next time, had the very good gyozas, soba ramen salad and a monthly special barbecue-flavoured sushi roll. More to come!

Sushi Momo is incredible, the flavors are out of this world. The miso soup with mushroom is delicious, and all of their rolls have very unique flavor with thoughtful sauces that balance them out. Soy sauce isn't needed for a lot of the food here. You'll cherish every bite! The dessert option is also perfect. Staff here is really knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is beautiful

Momo sushi is an amazing and unique vegan restaurant. They clearly know what they are doing, the flavors I found here you will never find in "normal" sushi. It was a great flavorful experience.

We were recommended this place by a friend of mine and it did not disappoint! Very creative offerings and they were all good. We liked the space too. The interiors felt as though I was in Japan despite having never travelled there.

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. The flavor combos are interesting and the specials are really daring (in December one of the special rolls was duck l’orange! It was weird but fun to try). Definitely try the triple mushroom roll, it’s one of their best, but there are probably no bad choices on the menu. If there are, I couldn’t find any.

Wow, this place is simply amazing. We had the four course menu consisting of miso soup/mushrooms as a first starter, followed by some dumplings and salad as a second starter, a generous amount of various kinds of creative vegan sushi and a lovely cake/matcha dessert. Everything was fantastic, including drinks, service and interior design. My new favorite sushi restaurant.
