I can’t wait to try it again! - Edit
The sushi here is excellent! It’s so impressive. My partner and I ordered one of the meal sets for two people. We both agreed that it’s the best miso soup we’ve ever tried. One of the rolls had lots of mushrooms and it was really really good. I can’t wait to go back and try more delicious things.

Amazing - Edit
My friend and i loved it here. The servers were excellent and cheerful, the food was creative and tasty.
Read moreWe ordered the sashimi, 9.1.1 (my fave), the california and the momo (my second fave, my friend's fave)
The non alcoholic lemonade was tasty.
Really amazing!
The only weird part, that goes in hand with vegan menus, is 2 separate tables sat down and said they
1. Couldnt eat fish.
2. Were vegetarian so couldnt order the 9.1.1
I wonder how often this happens generally?
Pros: All vegan, Excellent service, Fast

A hit everytime - Edit
Probably my favorite vegan restaurant in the city. Worth every penny, the food is both delicious and plated beautifully. Super flavourful. Used to dislike sushi and after my first time going, I fell in love! Miso soup very flavourful too :)

Unique and delicious! - Edit
Seriously delicious! I liked how quick and convenient the Komomo takeout area was. Very smart to put it beside Sushi Momo.
Read moreI had the kinoko which was pretty good and refreshing, but my favourites were the Gyu and Kara-age. I really liked the vegan cream cheese and different flavours each piece had. I also LOVED the basil/spicy mayo sauce the Gyu one had. The soy sauce had spices and flavour that made it very delicious each dip.
I had the brownie and matcha cake. They were okay, but no where near worth the $8 dollars we paid for each of them. Overall, I would recommend the sushi 10000% but maybe skip on dessert!
Pros: The Gyu was the best sushi I've ever had! , Great sauces
Cons: Desserts were not worth the money

Amazing but expensive! - Edit
Frankly, this place would be a 5 for atmosphere, service, food taste and presentation, but les because it is sooo expensive. I wish it were more affordable for the less wealthy vegans…

Wrong hours and rude staff - Edit
WARNING! The restaurant is only open until 9pm not 10!!!!
Read moreSadly, this is the first time I have to give a vegan such a low review.
I went there on Sunday evening with my partner at9:30 and was refused service, however I believe the waitress did so based on simply disliking me. I just saw it was closed the next 2 days as well. I never got to try the sushi and now we need to leave Montreal. I spent 2 hours trying to find another place that was open. It was terrible...

BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCE - Edit
My partner and I have decided to make this spot our new American Thanksgiving tradition. We always leave town then and love sushi! The dishes are beautifully presented and so good. The atmosphere is perfect, just lively enough while not being loud/difficult to hear. I appreciate the menu giving options to sample different types of sushi in one order so I am not eating so many of one thing. We can't wait to resume our traditional trek once covid is over!

Delicious Vegan High-end Sushi Restaurant - Edit
This is honestly one of the best vegan sushi restaurants. The chef is amazingly talented and crafts each sushi with care, combining passion and fresh ingredients. They have a wide variety of makis that you can choose from, from Hawaii with mango wrapping, to Mumbai with a fusion of Indian and traditional japanese flavours. They have soy and wheat-based fish and shrimp which taste like the real thing - so much that it got all my non-veg friends and family members fooled.
Read moreOverall, this is an elegant, high-end sushi restaurant. Probably one of the best vegan places in town. The prices match the quality, so they are quite high. But if you have an event or a celebration, this is DEFINITELY the place to go.

Amazing place - Edit
Ive been a client there for 6 years, everything DE LI CIOUS. The first time I had it is to this day my best meal ever. Ive also worked there, they treat their employee amazingly too. Its an awesome company and they deserve every bit of success that the chef’s creativity and talent brought them. Sushi momo is one of the best restaurant in Montreal, vegan or not! Brought many non vegans friends there and it’s all their favorite restaurant now too. The take out is just as wonderful. Love yourself and go eat their sushis 💜

Sushi Momo is an exemplary susshi restaurant. Their dishes are so extensive and so well thought out, I have yet to find sushi elsewhere that can even begin to compare.

Best sushi in town - Edit
I have been to Sushi Momo since their beginning when they had a super small restaurant with only 4 tables on Duluth street. Now, Sushi Momo is well known by everyone and for a reason. They serve the best sushis in town. They are so tasteful and original, even non-veg people are amazed at how good the sushis are and say that they are even better than sushis made with fish. My boyfriend who doesn't normally likes sushis, loves the ones from Sushi Momo. It is definitely one of the best restaurant I have ever been. If you plan to be in Montreal for only one night, that would be the restaurant I would recommend to go without any hesitation. There are a lot of choices and it is always hard to decide what to take, so what I always do and recommend to do is to take the « deals » which come with miso soup, appetizers, a sushi plate or boat (if you are a group) and desserts.

All Work and Mo Play Makes Mo a Mo Mo - Edit
Low key blown away by this place. I'm usually hesitant about "vegan sushi" because it usually turns out to be day old cucumber rolls. This is the total opposite. We got the 2 person omakase option that was miso soup + edamame + a surprisingly delicious papaya noodle dish + 25 pieces of sushi selected by the kitchen. Every single thing was delicious on it own. This is the kind of gem that gets buried when vegetarians rush to this site to report every restaurant that will sell you a glass of water and a sugar packet as a vegan option. The online reservation process was really easy too, and I'd definitely recommend a reservation.
