I don’t get to this area often, but I make sure to stop here when I do. The food is delicious, the coffee is amazing, and the staff is so warm and sweet. I can’t say enough good things about these guys! definitely don’t miss this spot

I have been going to sweet rose since they’ve opened I only live a few streets over so dangerous. Lol I really enjoy the breakfast panini with tempe bacon and avocado. The cinnamon rolls are to die for. Love having this place here in Fall River.

LOVE this place. They have so many delicious choices! I love their paninis and their salads are so flavorful. Pastries are amazing too. It’s so nice to have a vegan cafe in town. They have outside eating and it’s the cutest place always clean and cozy. The staff is friendly and helpful.

We were driving through on our way to the cape and stopped for lunch. I had the berry salad and my partner had the southwest breakfast wrap. Everything was delicious! My only critique was that I wanted more dressing because it was so good 😂 We also both had the blueberry muffins which were very good. Stuff was also very friendly. Highly recommend!

It’s very difficult to find a place that puts a lot of thought into their plant based menus. This place is one of those places. Everything on the menu is plant based and there’s a whole bakery case with vegan options. This is a must visit if you’re anywhere in the area.

My husband and I learned about this place and decided to hop down to Fall River from Boston for a day trip (it's a pandemic and we're bored!). The breakfast was great! We enjoyed the Soyrizo Wrap, Breakfast Bowl, and a breakfast panini. The pumpkin chocolate chip muffin was outstanding and definitely did not taste gluten free!
Read moreThe matcha latte was a bit sweet, next time I'd probably ask them to cut back on the sugar. But it was still probably the second best matcha latte I've ever had (Starbucks is still my favorite).
Breakfast here followed by a walk through the Copicut Woods was a great day. We'll be back!

Can’t believe I only just found out about this place! Even my non vegan boyfriend enjoyed! Got the breakfast panini and added vegan tempeh bacon and it was delicious! Brought a blueberry muffin home for a snack the next day and wish I had another, can’t wait to try more here!

Stopped here on the way from CT to Cape Cod. Will definitely be our go-to any time we travel. I had the TLT with avocado and vegan mayo&cheeze. AMAZING! The seeded bread was toasted perfectly, the cheese was delicious and melted, the tempeh wasn’t too thick and was perfectly crisp (I thought it might be real bacon for a minute!). Would order again and again 🙌🏻 my husband ordered a butternut squash wrap—he raved about the first bite and the next thing I knew it was gone 😂 can’t wait to come back! Thank you, SR 🌹

Such a nice atmosphere, super nice staff and a small parking lot. There were many things on the menu I wanted to try, and I absolutely have to come back for the breakfast. Sadly I don't live near here, just in the area a couple of times a year. Creative sandwiches, wraps, paninis and bowls. Very nice selection of baked goods, and although there were gluten free options, I was thrilled not all of them were gluten free because I love gluten.

Finally an All-Vegan/Vegetarian Restaurant on the South Coast - Edit
I was born and raised in Fall River, and have lived in the city my whole life. We are widely known for our Portuguese and Hispanic food, but not so much plant-based food. Generally speaking, I spend most of my time (and money) in the vegan mecca that is Providence. That is no longer the case!
Read moreSweet Rose Cafe is a cute little spot near the historic end of the city. Everything on the menu is vegan by default, but vegetarians and anyone alike can opt for dairy and egg options. It's a great place to go for trying the new vegan Just Egg, and they've even given a little nod to the city's heritage with a soy-based chorizo (the more popularized look-alike to Portuguese chourico).
The taco salad is a must try, as well as the grilled cheese. All of the breakfast options (especially the grilled panini with tempeh) are awesome and I'm SO happy to have breakfast out in my own city again! They always have delicious fresh soups available (my favorite so far has been the lentil dahl) and they serve Jim's Organic coffee as well! They've recent added smoothies too with promises to add more flavors over time.
I have loads more I could say about this place, but I'll just finish off by saying everyone needs to give them a try, whether you're vegan or vegetarian or not. They show how vegan eating can be quite simple and unrestrictive to a heavily meat-based community, and I'm glad they are now in business. Highly recommended!

Delicious, wide variety of all vegan options including gluten free if you desire - Edit
Beautifully decorated inside and out, comfortable seating with a homey feel. We tried four different items. The chili, cheesy chickpea panini, butternut squash panini, and sweet potato black bean burger. All were vegan, delicious, and I would get them again! Lots of other items on the menu I’m looking forward to trying when I return, which I absolutely plan to do! The people working there were friendly and kind. I already told a couple of people about this place and plan to take them there soon. So nice not to have to drive all the way to providence for good vegan meals! I also got a chocolate chip pumpkin cookie and a walnut brownie, which were both good, but especially the cookie. Prices for everything were very reasonable.

Tons of foods you actually want to eat. Something for everyone really. Sandwiches, wraps, salads, quinoa bowls, panninininis, ciabatta, coffee/cappuccino drinks (hot and cold) 4 kinds of vegan milks. Smoothies ‘coming soon’ two bakery cases but get there earlier the better to get the best selections. The breads are great and sandwiches come lightly toasted. The tlt was substantial and pesto vegan mayo (one of several mayo options) was zingy. Service is very attentive and friendly. Gluten free bread and wraps are available upon request. They also have a great breakfast menu (available before 11). This place packs wayyyy more food options then what youd expect from similar vegan centric places.

Stumbled upon this place by total chance and couldn’t be happier! Diverse menu, speedy service, fairly priced, large portions and the staff were extremely nice. Cupcakes were melt in your mouth and sandwiches were decedent. The restaurant itself is quaint and welcoming.

i went 3 times in the first week it was open. i’m so excited to have something down the street. between me and my husband we’ve tried a ton of stuff and everything was amazing. the baked goods are delicious, so is the coffee. great location, great atmosphere. staff is really nice. definitely a must try.
