Uses organic cold-pressed coconut oil; organic agave nectar and whole cane sugar as sweetener. Also offers coffee drinks, vegan Brooklyn Egg cream soda, and Italian soda. Open Tue-Fri 8:30am-4:00pm, Sat 9:00am-4:00pm.

My birthday cake was out of this world! - Edit
They made an amazing birthday cake for me. It was super tasty and my non vegan friends especially loved the maple frosting. The biscuits with white bean sausage are a new favorite in our house and we’ll be eating these frequently! I’ve heard the cinnamon rolls are superb so need to try those in the near future.

Arrived 15 before opening in a Saturday morning. Good thing.. a line was forming. It moved fast once they opened, but probably 20 ppl long, and still like that when we left. Donuts are yeast style. Cinnamon buns also delicious. Coffee fine, nothing special.

Had a red velvet cake ordered for my birthday about a week ago. It was pretty decent and richer than the vegetarian cakes I've had in the past. The frosting was moderately sweet, and my stomach felt the coconut oil. I made the error of ignoring the "made for (this amount) of people" message on their website and got an 8-inch cake. With the reasoning of "oh it's only 8 inches in diameter and probably only like 3 inches tall. That'll be fine for four people." Therapist upped session rates since this blunder. It's meant for 12-16 people and it was HUGE. I guess the bonus of having dessert covered for a good while was nice. Someone that I shared the cake with upon having the first bite said it was better than the non-vegan cakes they've had.

TINY place, with only room for two tables inside, and some nice declarations. Their typewriter does not have ink in it and doesn't work. I think they need to get that fixed.
Employee taking orders seemed knowledgeable and friendly.

Lives up to the Hype! - Edit
I finally tried this place after so many years of being in Jacksonville !! I tried a coconut doughnut, cupcake, & brownie. All three were delicious !!! My omnivorous dad called a doughnut he ate “phenomenal”. I definitely recommend this place and will be going back whenever I’m in Jax !!

Sweet Theory is one of the best vegan bakeries I have ever been to. Their doughnuts are out of this world! I especially like their maple twists when they have that one. If you can't have gluten they have a lot of gluten free options available too. They have brewed coffee, hot or iced and choice of nondairy milk and syrup flavor. Everyone that works here is phenomenal and so so nice. Be kind, they work hard and the lines get long sometimes, out the door and down the block. Be prepared to wait patiently.

We were traveling home to SC from Disney and we lucky enough to stop and get biscuits, donuts, cinnamon rolls and tea. The everything biscuits and black pepper biscuit sandwiches. They were AMAZING. we couldn’t resist and also picked up donuts and a cinnamon roll. Everything was so good. Definitely keeping this on the travel stop list.

We had found this bakery here on Happy Cow and it did not disappoint!! The “Sausage” biscuit (black pepper) was so good!! And the Biscoff Cookies & Cream cinnamon roll was so amazing! Have several other things to try later but so far it’s all phenomenal!!!
