Food was amazing. We had the Chicago Edgy Burger Combo with fries. and salad and it was delicious! No seriously; the bread was crunchy, the patty was well flavored and the salad was freshly made. You also get a mug you can refill as often you want with several cold drinks. We payed 24,50€ for two menus.

Great vegan food! So many options - Edit
I had the golden nuggets with dipping sauce, and the chili cheese bites (fried bites with vegan cheese and jalapeño(?) bits for filling, super tasty, not too spicy). I also had the vegan tiramisu for dessert (SO GOOD!!). My partner had the vegan fish & chips! Lots of great dipping sauces to choose from. The hot pepper sauce is super hot but it is tasty. Mixed well with the vegan mayo sauces. They have so many burgers to choose from so I will have to come back and check those out next time.

We stopped by Swing Kitchen for lunch. It’s waking distance from museum Island. Simple diner-like food (burgers and schnitzel in buns). I ordered the Vienna Burger which is actually a schnitzel in a bun, and my wife ordered the MENO Cheeseburger. We also ordered tiramisu. The food was good, not great. Actually, the tiramisu was very good. The place gives you a feeling of a diner but the background music is Swing. A combo of burger, Fries and a drink is 14.90 euros.

Tasty burgers - Edit
Went here for lunch as it was near the train Station and it was delicious! The staff were lovely and food was made quite quickly. I had the cheese burger which comes with sun dried tomatoes which was so good, and my partner had the special. Also you get free refills on drinks with the meal and they have a wide selection to choose from!

Read moreI got the bacon burger. I have been vegan so long so bacon is out of my pallate, this tasted just as I remembered. It has a good crunch. All in all - it's like bacon, but vegan!
The fries are just okay. The spicy sauce was amazing.

Very nice, peaceful space in middle of tourist area. Around 50 seats inside an 50 outside. Directly at tram & train station 'Friedrichstraße'. During the last 45 minutes of opening hours, staff recently starts to clean all, i.e., no more coffee; fries are completely cold then and not okay etc.. Support the place (the other one in Berlin closed, so...) but be firm concerning cold fries 🤝

We checked out Swing Kitchen on Rosenthalerstraße while in Berlin. That location recently shut down, but it was a beautiful bustling area to enjoy a bite under the Berliner Fernsehturm.
Read moreSwing, being a chain, offers pretty much the same menu at all their locations across Europe. Only differences I noticed were the crinkle cut fries available at a few different locations, Wraps are not available at all locations and the inclusion of the Chili burger at other locations.
We ordered the Vienna Burger (Soy Schnitzel), the Kitchen Wrap (soy nuggets) and a side of Chili Cheese Bites. All the food was what you'd expect from a small vegan chain, Not bad but not uber great either.
I do like that they have a resource calculation system for most items on the menu. It tells you the amount of resources you've "saved" by eating their vegan options, compared to an equivalent meat option. So by eating the Vienna Burger I saved 466 litres of water, 0,45Kg CO2, and 2,13m² forest area. YIPPIE! It's kind of gimmicky for a vegan of 20 years, but for a meat eater cutting back on their meat consumption, it would be pretty eye opening.
Overall Swing Kitchen is trying to do the right thing AND serving tasty vegan food that appeals to everyone. Shwiiiiiiing!

Finally - some good vegan burgers! - Edit
Finally some really good vegan burgers, including an excellent cheese burger! The fries and sweet potatoe fries are just as good and the refill system for drinks is great. Prices are fair, about 15€ per person including drinks. Only downside is the waste that could easily be avoided, everything except the drinks is served in plastic or paper even if you dine in. The food is worth 5 stars, but that is a big downside for me. Improve that, then it would be perfect!
