Zentral gelegen, schönes Ambiente mit freundlichem Service. Beim Essen sollten wirklich alle etwas passendes finden, die Vorspeisen laden auch zum Durchprobieren ein.

Ich war schon in einigen Restaurants mit ähnlichem Konzept, bei denen man sich entweder aus mehreren kleinen Gerichten etwas zusammenstellen oder aus ein paar Hauptgerichten wählen kann. Das finde ich besonders gut, wenn man nur wenig Hunger hat oder gerne teilt. Das Essen war schnell serviert und wirklich lecker, auch die Atmosphäre hat uns gut gefallen. Insgesamt aber nichts Besonderes – ähnliche Restaurants gibt es in Hamburg recht häufig.

Spacious and calm interior. The food arrived quickly, the portion was large enough. You definitely get asian experience from the food. Only thing is, for me personally, the food was too spicy, which doesn't happen normally, so I had a hard time finishing it.

Worth taking an earlier train - Edit
We took an earlier connecting train to Altona to have a quick lunch here, and it was definitely worth it. We shared five small bowls between the two of us, which filled us up without stuffing us: the bao sandwich; three Mixed vegetable stir fry dishes with tofu, tempeh and meatballs; won ton soup and a small bowl of rice. We loved the bao and really liked the soup too (especially good if you like this Kind of plain asian broth with vegetables). The stir fry dishes were a little samey, but we could have thought of that beforehand, and they were all tasty anyway. Taste wise the place was 9/10 all in all. The service was super friendly, the prices fair, they were great about allergies and the service was fast to boot. Highly recommend!

Many seats; wasn’t that busy when we there on a Sunday for lunch.

One of those restaurants, of which there are a few in Hamburg, with tapas or wok plates. Everything is heavily fried or very greasy or sugary, but the service is quick and friendly and all vegan!

Tasty Asian cusine with creative concept - Edit
The concept of the restaurant is great. You can choose various small dishes from the menu and then share them together. That way you can try as much as possible. The food itself seems fresh, the salads are crisp and everything is intensely seasoned. If you like Asian cuisine, you will definitely find what you are looking for here. One point is deducted because the service and the layout of the restaurant give the impression that it is mass-produced and that the personal touch is somewhat lacking.

Read moreEs gibt kleine Bowls für 4,90€ (Stand Juli 24) und große Hauptgerichte, die dann doch mehr ins Geld gehen.
Von diesem Bowls brauche mindestens 3-4 um wirklich satt zu werden. Die Auswahl ist aber top, auch die Desserts sehr lecker.
Ich würde mir wünschen, dass noch genderneutrale Toiletten eingebaut werden, weil das den ganzen Ort noch deutlich inklusiver machen würde. Auch sind die Toiletten nur über Stufen erreichbar, was diese ebenfalls nicht barrierefrei/arm macht.

We went there for the third time and the quality of the food decreased within the years. The food came two minutes after ordering (fresh???) and they forgot one meal. It did not taste as good as it used to in the past.

I didn't know what to expect but was surprised all around. It was full but not with super packed seating. The food came fast but was much better than "fast food". I would definitely recommend this place, which is conveniently located next to the Altona train station.

TA is an excellent venue to take out friends or family for a posh dinner.
Read moreHaving already been at the main TA House in the Portuguese quarter in Hamburg, this time I tried the Altona branch.
I like that there are plenty of starters but only few mains - one can taste more dishes at one visit.
We were four people, and everything we ordered was good; however, some dishes tend to be a bit bland - speaking for myself.
Of course, TA is on the pricier side, but it’s still affordable and the quality is good.
Overall I prefer the first branch, close to Landungsbrücken, over the Altona one, because it’s more open. Menu-wise there’s no difference.
The cocktails are almost better then the food - really tasty!
I’ll continue to visit at special occasions. It’s not the kind of place I’d like to visit daily.
Maybe they dare more exciting flavours in the future.
Keep in mind for TA: better reserve your table beforehand to avoid disappointments.
