Ordered delivery from Taboonette—both the Eggplant Sabich Pita (vegetarian because of egg) and Sweet Potato Falafel Pan (replaced tzatziki with tahini sauce) did not disappoint!!

This is a cramped, counter-serve venue with communal seating that offers Mediterranean fare. I had a falafel pita, and it was quite tasty and filing.
Read moreThey also offer other vegan items, but a number of the non-falafel items are grilled on the same grill as the meat items, so I chose to stick with a falafel (which they assured me was cooked in separate oil from the meat dishes).

I got the sweet potato falafel pita, they let me substitute the yogurt tsatziki sauce for hummus. It was delicious and good portions for the price!

I ordered the falafel pan and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Best tahini I’ve had, the veggies were super fresh and crisp, the falafel was crispy on the outside and soft/flavorful on the inside. It’s easy to walk to from the subway and right next to a chocolate shop, which is a plus! Very reasonable prices for Manhattan too.
