Other menu items include flautas, two burritos, enchiladas, and a quesadilla. For dessert find churros, ice cream, and concha loca ice cream sandwich. Half of the building is open air and the other half is enclosed. Tacotarian’s entrance is wide-open and incredibly inviting thanks to their friendly staff. My girl and I went here for brunch and got the ooey-gooey quesabirria, the absolutely STACKED breakfast burrito, and a vibrant tasting taco platter with sides of orange juice and horchata espresso. The interior has a laid-back and relaxing vibe that is heightened by their diverse style of furniture. Great stop for anytime day!

I ordered the Birria tacos they were so Amazing the best in San Diego. My new go to for birria tacos! Also ordered a side of rice and beans that tasted so good. Their sauces are all so delicious too. We came to San Diego to tour the vegan food scene. This place was absolutely perfect! Excellent customer service. Outstanding tacos.

The street corn was OK. Everything else was out of this world. Better than what we are used to at even our favorite spots in LA and Long Beach.

I had the taco trio with Barbacoa, asada, and al pastor tacos, and all 3 were the best tacos I've ever had before. Tortillas were delicious, and the vegan meats were seasoned perfectly. Rice and beans were nothing to write home about, but I did enjoy mango margarita, as well!

I just discovered this place about 6 months ago. It was an amazing experience. It's 100% vegan and the tacos are inspired by the famous street tacos in Mexico. I wanted to try all of them, but i was born with one stomach, so...sigh! Ha ha! I've had the Queso Fundido app and Guacamole, both of which I recommend. I've also tried most of the tacos and have not been disappointed. Tacotarian is a gem in our community!

This is the 3rd Vegan Restaurant in this particular space. The other two didn’t make it. This place is sooo good. I really hope they cracked the code. I highly recommend them for the standard or brunch menus. So far, I’ve tried their fish tacos, flautas, Al Pastor Taco, Plantain Con Mole, Breakfast 🌯 Burrito, Chicken And Waffle Sandwich, and Chilaquiles. Take friends so you can try more things! Their horchata is divine! Keep them open with your business!

This place is all vegan and has an assortment of tacos, burritos, and misc. We tried the Al pastor, plátano con mole, fish, and baja tacos. All of them were delicious, but the Al pastor was my favorite. We also had the carne asada fries which were pretty good. Don’t skip on the taki elote because it was fuego 🔥🔥🔥 also loved the horchata and the jamaica.

Breakfast burrito was great! I asked if they can make it wet and they said yes but gave me the sauce on the side because they didn’t want to get the salsa on the fruit. I understand, but think putting the fruit in a cup or separate plate would have been an easy fix. Micheladas were amazing!!

I’m usually not a big fan of street tacos, but Tacotarian has won my heart. I love their barbacoa made with jackfruit. Young jackfruit can be chewy and stringy, but theirs is tender and sooo yummy. My husband enjoyed the asada fries, and my mom can’t stop raving about the nachos. Even my sister who is not vegan really liked the food. We all shared a piece of coconut cake. It pretty much blew our minds. The texture is like flan! Everything was so delicious, I forgot to take pictures. Lol

Read moreThe food was unreal, and the horchata was really creamy. I've not had much Mexican food, but my boyfriend has roots in Tijuana and also really liked it. There were some good twists on classics. Portion sizes were great, and all the food was packed with flavour. Would love to go again.
