Incredible food - Edit
I love Tamale Co! So tasty. I tried something new every time I came here until I tried everything. Now I can’t ever decide what to get because it was all so delicious. It’s a little pricey, but so worth it. Definitely the best ‘authentic’ vegan/vegetarian Mexican in Orlando.
Read moreTry the nopales (cactus), even if you’ve never had it. I think the idea of eating cactus might seem odd, but it’s really not that different than, say, eating okra. I personally love nopales most everywhere, but they’re outstanding in the tamale. Nopales is not a tamale configuration you can easily find elsewhere.
For drinks, skip the alcohol and order any Agua Fresca flavor with your meal. You won’t regret it.

Cozy Mexican Brunch - Edit
Loved the vegan options. Beautiful plating. The mexi one seemed like the veggies were frozen so I would try the nopales next time. They also have a vegan kids option specify if you want pickled onions and salsa for the kids stuff. They had a pineapple água fresca.
Read moreThe tamale was really nice. I loved the avocado sauce too.
The vibe and ambiance are perfect. Love the booths and sombrero lights. Even the bathroom is nicer than expected. I’d definitely come back here!
Pros: Decorations, music, booths and vibe, Delicious tamales with avocado cream, Vegan kids options
Cons: Wish there was a vegan kids tamale

Tasty - Edit
I had the nopal cactus tamales, and it was pretty good; but what I didn’t like about the food was how they added food coloring to it (rice and tamales). Seems unnecessary. The food was a bit oily, but overall tasty. I would give the place another try for the black bean tacos.

Absolutely Delicious - Edit
Delicious food in generous portions. My dad, who is not an adventurous eater at all, loved his black bean tamales. When I come back to Orlando, I'll make sure to order from here again.

But wait, there's more! - Edit
We stumbled into this place completely by accident, and we were SO pleasantly surprised to see some gourmet vegan options on the menu. Even more surprising: in the same building as Tamale Company, there is a Vietnamese restaurant and patisserie (Le Ky) that also offers vegan options. Both were delicious and extremely fresh.

Love them!! - Edit
We have been here several times, and the service has been over the top great, and the food is soooo good. The have vegan and vegetarian options clearly marked. I don’t think there’s a vegan cheese or cream-type sauce. There is a kids menu. The beans are slightly spicy and the rice is not, in case you have a kid who doesn’t like spicy.

Tamales! - Edit
The Prima Vera is my preferred vegan menu option here. First had tamale co at their food truck that comes to my work. The service is great, the food is wonderful, and the location is cute and conveniently located with three other food places that also have vegan options (Leguminati, Foxtail Coffee, and Le Ky Patisserie)

My First Tamale - Edit
While on vacation in Florida, I visited here 2-3 times. Tamales were delicious, pricing was fair and cashier was courteous & knowledgeable. I was able to customize a tamale even further, because I wanted to try Nopales while in Florida (hard to find where I live). Wonderful place. I will return.

Not fully veg but better Mexican than any veg place in city and great staff to trust with vegan. Multiple vegan tamales that are huge with toppings plus tacos. Horchata is great. There is a bar for quick bite alone or being friends for festive time.
