Delicious and authentic - Edit
Currently having lunch. And this flavors are awesome. Love the two tortilla tacos. The salsas are amazing and included when ordered to go. First time here, but I will definitely come back.

Does taste authentic but tacos don’t come with sauce and are dry, especially with the double shell. The only sauce you don’t have to pay for is hot sauce, and I’m not a hot sauce person. The capeaditos are very good but again, doesn’t come with nearly enough sauce. The sauce it comes with is so good but they want $4 for another one. Also not the most filling. We did not like the middle mushroom taco, just dry mushrooms in a dry taco shell. The other 2 were good, I just wish they had sauce so I didn’t have to peel off second shell and squeeze full limes and hot sauce I don’t want!! Would come back because good vegan authentic Mexican food is truly hard to come by and I do think it is good. The girl who served us was also cool, I love a sweet vegan staff member at a vegan place.

I loved having an entire menu of tasty Mexican dishes to choose from. The nachos took some time to prepare, but the meal overall was with the wait. I will definitely be back to try the other taco options. My favourite so far is the Capeado. The staff was also incredibly friendly!

Delicious Mexican cheesecake!! - Edit
I haven’t had a baked cheesecake in years. It’s not too sweet, not too dense or heavy, and the right amount of tartness. Delicious!! They have a lovely patio and free wifi too. What a gem!!

Got the el pastor burrito bowl. Food was delicious and included deeply cooked and crusted mushrooms in among the faux meat. If there was an option to get all mushrooms I would totally do it! Small eat in area, but has a nice casual vibe. Kitchen staff seemed super happy to be there and very friendly/knowledgeable.

This place has now tied as my top three restos in the city. I really can't tell you why it's so explosively good. Previously, I'd still say my favourite burrito in the city was Tacos El Asador - which I've been going to since the 1990s. Vegan places came and went, other places had vegan options, including meat... but it was just the plain bean burritos at TEA that had my mouth watering... until... Taqueria Vegana!
Read moreYou won't go wrong with whichever protein you choose. Everything on the menu will make your taste buds sing. It's very fresh and super flavourful. It's a welcoming atmosphere.
They have a rewards program that's decent, and for better or worse (I'm spending too much!😄) I live right down the street.
They are competing with Gus Taco across the street (Gus only offers a mushroom burrito, which tastes fine but gets boring fast) and Rancho Relaxo. I hope they can stick it out!

I haven't had authentic street tacos since leaving San Diego, and I have to say...all the tacos were on point. We tried all 4 tacos with rice and beans. They were each delicious in their own way but my favorite was the "carne" asada. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Definitely going to make a stop here whenever we are in Toronto!

We had the tacos and a side of the oyster mushrooms. The tortilla are corn and as you know tend to break. They double wrap so there is no breaking and spilling. Friendly staff and all round good vibes.
