Jaw Dropping Italian - Edit
Tarantino's is in fact one of the best Italian spots I've had in a very long time. I'm so happy there was a vegan Italian restaurant here in Vegas that really made a memorable meal for us.
Read moreWe started with the Sampler ($18) which as you can imagine, was a sampling of their appetizers. The artichoke heart 'crab' cakes were delicious and the rice balls were also another standout. The meatless balls were a bit on the saltier side but pair that up with the bruschetta and it evens out the palette.
For our main, we ordered the Oyster Scallops in White Wine Sauce ($19) and it was the perfect amount to share for two. The sauce was savory but not heavy, and the fettucine noodles made in house was just perfect. Plus the side salad we got with their homemade caesar dressing - I mean, come on. Incredible dressing!
Big shoutout to our server David! He was am absolute joy and was kind enough to help us get another side salad instead of sharing just the one that came with our main. We appreciate that immensely!
If we weren't already stuffed, we would've gone in for dessert. Tarantino's truly is one of the best restaurants in town and I can't wait to come back.
Pros: Variety of vegan Italian dishes, Excellent service

Amazing!! - Edit
This is the first time I’ve eaten Italian out since becoming vegan 10 years ago. Tarantino’s did not disappoint! If we lived near here we would definitely be regulars! The host was kind and friendly, the portions generous and the food spectacular!! Do not hesitate, and if you’re in Vegas as a visitor, absolutely put this restaurant on your list of must visits!

Slightly underwhelmed - Edit
First the pros: all vegan menu, great service and comfortable atmosphere with relaxing music. We ordered the eggplant parm and lasagna with Caesar salads. The Caesar dressing didn’t have the tang I crave. They must not use capers or lemon juice in their recipe? The eggplant parm was cooked to perfection. Nice and crispy slices of eggplant but there was too much pasta underneath and the sauce wasn’t terribly flavorful. Still, decent. The lasagna was HUGE. WAY TOO HUGE. Too much meat in the meat sauce and not super flavorful either. Hubs couldn’t eat it all so half was put in a to-go box. He said it tasted better the next day. Our pieces of bread had a weird burned taste unfortunately. No room for dessert so no reviews on what looked to be delicious offerings. Our server from Jersey was really nice and made our dining experience pleasant. Would go again and try other menu items.

A full on Italian spot! - Edit
What a treat! I only gave this 4 of 5 stars simply because I was kinda expecting slightly more refined dishes. It has the menu, the vibe, and the expectation upon walking in that it’s going to be on the “fancier” end. Our breadstick sauces came in plastic ramekins and I expected my scallops to be set nicely atop my fettuccine and, instead, they were mixed about and resting at the bottom of my dish where I couldn’t even see them. Unreasonable?? I don’t know! I thought the food presentation would be a smidge classier. But! The food and flavors were amazing and the desserts were killer and the menu has so many dishes we often don’t see anymore as vegans!

High Hopes, Not Fully Met - Edit
I came here with very high hopes based on all the reviews I read but I was not as blown away as everyone else. The food is good for sure but nothing earth shattering or different than any other vegan Italian I've tried. I got the chick'n Parmesan - good but pretty sure I can make something comparable at home. Tried some of the baked Mac n cheese (underwhelming) and eggplant parmesan (good).
Read moreThe dessert was a disappointment. The cannoli is very almond extract forward which I am not a fan of at all. Oreo cheesecake had an off taste to it that I couldn't put my finger on. Definitely wouldn't get either of these two desserts again.
For the price I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. 3 entrees, 2 desserts, and 1 non-alcoholic drink set us back almost $100 after tip!
Pros: good selection, delicious looking desserts
Cons: price, underwhelming flavor, desserts not as good as they look

The Best - Edit
How is this place even real? I had crab cakes and cajun shrimp alfredo that I could only imagine are better than the non-vegan versions. The prices are higher than the quick vegan food stop, but you are paying for the best quality and dishes here and worth each penny. Got to meet the head chef, and he talked about how he holds himself to a high standard and always being creative which is obvious in his food. A must-visit when in Las Vegas.

Amazing food and great customer service - Edit
We had the most amazing experience at this family owned restaurant. The food was wonderful and the customer service was exceptional. We got to meet the owner and his wife and had a delightful conversation. Definitely a must if you like Italian food, whether you are vegan or not. A great find and we will be back. The restaurant is on the smaller side so be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. 🌱

Absolutely Delicious! - Edit
Last night we did not dine in, but did a pickup. Though we have dined here several times, this is my first review! We had eggplant Parmesan, Caesar salad, and we topped it off with an amazing light and fluffy Napoleon! Wow!!! Everything was soooo delicious!!! Their desserts are AMAZING!!!

After a long day, hubby& I drove here to see a sign saying “ closed on Monday’s & Tuesdays”. We were starving and feeling disappointed. However, the owner opened the door, chatted with us. Hubby, asked if w ex could just order food to go. The owner said “ sure… come on in!”! While we waited for our order, he brought out risotto balls for us to enjoy! Needles to say we already raved about the food and service…. This was outstanding!!! We ordered lasagna, Caesar salad, crab cakes! Wowwwww!! Thank you!!!!

Amazing foods. Best vegan Italian I’ve eaten that I didn’t cook! Plus, I got the Italian deli sandwich for my travels the next day and it held up perfectly. I got the chicken Parmesan and loved it. Also had the ceased salad and that was perfectly crunchy.

microwaved food - Edit
I don't like writing bad reviews on vegan restaurants but unfortunately I was very disappointed with Tarantino's.
Read morewe order the pasta of the day (or something like that) and the lasagna.
the pasta of the day was different than the one on the menu, but tasted good.
lasagna was hard, almost impossible to cut, it also had too much seasoning.
we returned and asked if it was microwaved and we were told, yes.
he offer us another or something different but we said no. still charged us for the unwanted lasagna.
Pros: fully vegan
Cons: bit expensive , microwaved

Boo on the microwaving... Haven't had one in over 20 yrs. Not cool.

ordered to-go and it’s a no-go - Edit
I’ll keep this short and sweet (well not too sweet)… I ordered the zucchini sticks, chik’n parmesan sandwich and fries and I wouldn’t get any of it again. Honestly, most of my reviews are to-go and I just feel like restaurants don’t cater to the to-go crowd as much as they should. Honestly, the fried zucchini from Carls Jr are better imo… The bread for the chik’n Parmesan was dry and slightly burnt and my fries were soggy and slimy. Overall, I’ve decided I need to stop eating it out because I continue to be disappointed lol. Also, ADD SEASONING TO THE zucchini. I paid 43 dollars in all and I’ll never go again. I think the reason I like carls jr fried zucchini better is because it’s thinly sliced and seasoned really well. You can make most of these options at home for cheaper and enjoy it more. Maybe it’s better for dine in? But to-go is a no-go.

Great service. The tiramisu was better than no vegan ones. The only downfall was the red sauce was a little off but not bad and the meatball was bland.

Delicious And Quick - Edit
Small restaurant but the food was great! We shared the zucchini sticks appetizer and each got a pasta dish. I had Alfredo with meatballs and veggies which was amazing and he had the manicotti with marinara. These both were great for that “pasta craving”. The Cesar salad was great as well! Their dessert case made choosing just one impossible! So be sure to take some home!

Casual, comfort food - Edit
If you’re craving Italian comfort food off The Strip, then head to this strip mall eatery. Tarantino’s had an extensive menu with all your favorites, like lasagna, spaghetti, calzones, chick’n parmigiana, macaroni and cheese and more. The zucchini sticks are breaded just right and come with a flavorful marinara sauce for dipping. The full size Caesar salad is plenty for two people. The lasagna, made with cashew ricotta, sausage crumbles, basil and marinara, was a favorite. Unfortunately, the “steamed “ vegetables were bathed in oil, and the Minestrone broth was too oily. They were out of tiramisu, so we got the blueberry lemon cheesecake. It was fabulous.

Best vegan Italian spot in Vegas - Edit
This is the only dedicated vegan Italian food spot I’ve ever been to and I’m so sad that it’s in Vegas. So darn good! I had the Italian wedding soup with Chkn Parm. For desert I had the cannoli. Everything was delicious. There was no wait time and the staff was super friendly. If/when I go back to Vegas this is a must stop.

Finally a vegan Italian restaurant! - Edit
I have never seen a vegan Italian restaurant before so I was really excited to try this. Growing up, I was dragged by my family to lots of non-vegan Italian places and due to the meat and dairy heavy menus, I always ended up having to order some boring sautéed veggie sides as dinner or order a pasta with lots of modifications (which were not always honored) to make it vegan. So it was really exciting to find an Italian place where you could order anything off the menu!
Read moreThe food was very fresh and tasty. My partner and I got some garlic bread and the build your own pasta dishes and were very satisfied with our meals. (They do also have a gluten free zucchini noodle option if that's your thing.) The desserts in the pastry window looked absolutely stunning, but we were too full to try them! Maybe next time!
Service was very friendly, it looked like they may have been a bit understaffed (like most places these days) but they're clearly trying their best so I can't fault them for that. Our waitress was very kind and helpful!
Pros: Unique, fully vegan menu, Tasty, fresh food, Friendly service
Cons: Menu a bit carb heavy, but it is Italian food lol

This has been on my radar for awhile. Glad to be passing by here.
