Nice spot to chill - Edit
Just had a hot chocolate. It was very good. Rich and creamy , not too sweet. Koyasan is the shojin ryori heaven so I would never eat western food here, but it’s always good to have options.😉

The terrace is amazing. Unfortunately not many places have a terrace in Japan. :(

Good lunch spot - Edit
Had a great Buddha bowl. Very friendly staff and a nice little gift shop downstairs. It seemed to be away from the big crowds of the main road and was an ideal place to eat before exploring the graveyard opposite.

This place was really cute inside and had lots of gluten-free options. Their bread is rice flour based with an interesting texture close to regular version.
Read moreWe got the lunch course and a burger. The falafel was one of the most interesting takes on it compared to what I'm used to. It was moist and quite good.
The burger was made of soy meat, soy milk cheese, vegan miso mayo, a really tasty combo!

I really enjoyed my lunch at Tempu Terrace. There were three vegan mains and a few desserts, including ice cream available in the shop. I got the pizza and the brûlée pudding and both were really tasty.
