Good food, but I don't want to eat there! - Edit
Ove eaten there are a few times - the foods good, the servings are good, the prices are good. The service not so good - slow, and a little 'tude going on there too. But what finished it for me - the music was horrible frenetic dance club music, nothing I want to enjoy a meal to. After ordering, I just starting to feel irritated from the music, and asked if they could put on something more soothing, more appropriate for eating to - and they told me nope, the owners got his sets, that's it. So I told them, they lost me as a customer, and I'm sure there's other folks feel the same way.

Limited menu - Edit
They were out of the items I wanted to try but what I had was good. The marg was pretty pricey for a small glass with mostly ice.

Go Here! - Edit
It's been a long time since I had buttermilk pancakes. So this was the choice for one of our days in Phoenix. We went on a weekday late morning and ordered the Beet Burger and Pancakes. It was so much food but between the two people, we finished both orders! and BOTH WERE AMAZING. The taste and textures of the burger had my full attention. They serve shoestring fries as one option for the side and those made for the perfect meal. The person I shared these plates with is not vegan and they said they couldn't tell the pancakes were vegan (whatever that means). They looked perfectly fluffy and the taste matched.
Read moreThe next day we had planned on going to another vegan restaurant but ended up here again, back for the pancakes. This time we ordered pancakes with another dish. A recommendation from our server was the burrito. Lord knows breakfast burritos save lives and this one is one of the best vegan burritos I've had.
Next time I'm in the area, I will be returning to have a meal or two at this wonderful restaurant.
Pros: Amazing staff, Perfect Food, get what you pay for
Cons: hours are weird, sometimes they run out of pancakes

Instead of the usual breakfast and lunch cafe that closes at 3pm, this is a restaurant with a bar that makes creative cocktails that put a spin on some of the classics. I had the old fashioned that was made with a smoky mezcal and then their version of a NY Sour.

Food tastes super good. Everything was amazing. Reason for not voting it a 5 star is they don’t allow food modifications.

Best Meal in Forever - Edit
We're on a road trip from Boston to California, and have been on the road for 7+ weeks, eating at vegan restaurants along the way. This was the best meal we've had since we left home. The flavors will make your mouth sing. The chef has nailed texture (perfect amount of soft vs. crunch), and flavor combinations (spicy, sweet, garlic, etc.) perfectly. We're in Phoenix for a few days, and not sure if we should try anywhere else, since we are quite certain we already found the best. THANK YOU for such a great dinner.

Historic - Edit
Simply, one of the best in the business with the quality of vegan fare. Use to be vegetarian and now vegan - congrats! Check your food and quality of it, upon my last visit a month ago - felt cheated out of fries on the side. Salsa and chip are classic. I may have left a tip, yet service was dismal to say the least. I enjoyed meeting the owner and on that day, everything from the kitchen was top notch. Definitely worth experiencing. This new location is much spacious in&outdoor. There is also a barista around the bend.

Get the cauli tacos! - Edit
We tried the cauliflower tacos and chimichanga. Both were great but the tacos take the prize. The horchata was amazing as well and my husband liked the white Cuban.

Awesome little restaurant - Edit
I read an article in the Arizona Republic featuring the best restaurants around the valley for brunch. I was so excited when I saw they featured a vegan restaurant and immediately wanted to try it. So we went there this morning for brunch and it was great. We both had the special— it was a fried cauliflower wrap with a side salad. The menu looked so good I wanted to order it all. Instead. We’ll just have to go back again! Great service, very cool vibe - 80’s music, diverse crowd, interesting decor. I’m super glad we went and will definitely be back again!

Every time I come here the food and drinks are amazing. My whole family (non-vegan) also love it. I’ve never been disappointed by a dish here. The drinks are also delicious. The place is really cute and parking is quite easy to find.

Definitely coming back! - Edit
Went here last summer and plan to go again next time I travel through Phx. They have some of the best vegan food I've ever had. I got the mushroom asada tacos, side of beans, a drink I don't remember, and the fried guacamole. The only thing I wasn't 100% stoked on was the fried guac--I just didn't like that the guac was warm, but I'm sensitive about temperatures so that may be just a me problem. Flavor-wise it was really good like everything else!

Beautiful spot - Edit
This place has the most beautiful patio I’ve seen in Phoenix with a huge tree amongst the seating and misters, it’s totally relaxing. We went for brunch, my omnivore son didn’t even realize it was a vegan place and loved the biscuits and gravy and fried guacamole. The Chilaquiles was great and my husband loved their pancakes. My favorite was the mimosa kits, it made the morning feel extra special. Tons more to try and I would definitely recommend it!

Decent food - Edit
Most items on the menu are mediocre to me but some items are unique and amazing (the fried guacamole is to die for). A lot of effort goes into making almost everything from scratch and if you prefer vegan meats made from healthy ingredients over processed stuff this is your place. The employees are very kind but kind of awkward and somewhat forgetful. If I wasn’t such a junk food vegan I would probably rate 4 stars.

i could live off of tepary bean burgers - Edit
one of my top four restaurants for sure. anything you order off the menu is amazing, although the tacos are especially delicious! my party ordered both the cauliflower tacos and the mushroom tacos. it was definitely worth getting both, as they had very different flavor profiles. my personal favorite was the tepary bean burger i ordered! i would be content to sit under the counter and be fed tepary bean burgers for the remainder of my life.
Read morethe service was incredible, and the food came out really fast considering how they make all their food in the kitchen around the corner from our table! we even received pastries on the house and a recommendation for another restaurant in an area i was going to see soon!
overall my experience at this restaurant made my day and i would recommend eating here to anybody in the area:) one of my favorites!
