Amazing salads! - Edit
We met up with a bunch of animal eaters so I was thrilled with the vegan options. For $10, I got a huge salad with 4 toppings. The tofu was delicious and great portions. I also got the white beans, tomatoes and the pickled onions. They gave everyone complimentary tomatoes soup! It was delicious. Nice casual dining in the heart of Manayunk

To reiterate: you need to go to try the tomato soup. Travel considerable distance for the soup. It’s that good.

food was not out of this world, but did the job and i enjoyed it enough! it’s right on the main street area of manayunk. can get vegan/gf crusts for your pizzas with vegan cheese! many different pizza options! the lemonade was also super good

I haven't eaten here in awhile, but I remember the pizza being pretty good and I appreciated that they had vegan cheese years ago when not many places did. They expanded the menu and have a lot more vegan options now which is awesome.

Vegan cheesy bread was good. The sandwhich was meh. I like that they make their own Vegan cheese. Overall a good experience. I'm not raving but I'm glad I found it.

Great options for vegans - Edit
Went with non-vegan family so I was glad to find a place with options for everyone. I didn’t feel limited and most non-vegan items can be made vegan. I got the cheesy breadsticks and beyond burger. Everything was fantastic and I have no complaints about the food or service.

menu is a little difficult to read, so definitely ask the server and they will help you. i love getting the garlic knots which can be made vegan by request and are soooo good! i also get the veggie house special pizza with vegan cheese, and it is delicious and filling. one other thing to note is they always give a sample of their tomato bisque, but it is not vegan so you need to ask to not get it.

The service was quick and the food was pretty good. We ordered the vegan calamari, charred eggplant, and cauliflower power bowl. The calamari was ok but the sweet chili sauce that accompanied it was all wrong, they should have served it with a marinara sauce instead. I liked that the charred eggplant had a kick to it but I didn't taste much eggplant. The cauliflower power bowl had way too much tahini-miso sauce for my taste. But all in all, would go back to try other vegan options.

This is my go to vegan pizza for about a year now. ~Classic sauce, Kite hill vegan cheese w/ fennel, artichoke and mushroom bac’n (sometimes olive tapenade too :p) I’ve ordered this at least 10 times and it’s always amazing. Love that the ingredients are locally sourced & organic. SO GOOD!

Be careful fellow vegans - Edit
Both my sister and I are vegan for years. We ordered a “chicken” Cesar salad along with a vegan margarita pizza. The salad was very good and when the pizza came out, we were both amazed by the cheese as it seemed very much like dairy cheese. After half the pizza was gone, the server informed us that the pizza was not vegan cheese!! Seriously, triple check when your food comes out that it is actually vegan! They gave us our actual vegan pizza afterwards but I am just very disappointed. Luckily, I am not allergic to dairy but if I was, I would be in serious trouble, never the less, I’ve been vegan for years! Very disappointed, although the salad was good, and they did have a lot of vegan options.

The restaurant is super cute and the atmosphere is great! 3 floors with the cafe downstairs and 2 floors for the bistro upstairs. And the music added a lot of the atmosphere. One entire side of the menu was plant based with some alternatives listed for regular items too. We got fries for the table which were excellent. I got the margherita pizza with vegan cheese. It was my first time trying kite hill brand and I really enjoyed it. The pizza itself was really tasty, good crust and flavor. I will absolutely be coming back here!! So happy I found this place!

Terrific selection of vegan dishes - Edit
One entire page of the two-page menu was vegan, with 6 starters, 4 salads, 3 sandwiches (including a build-your-own option), 4 plates and 4 sides. I had the cauliflower power bowl and it was incredibly tasty and satisfying. Spouse had the build-your-own "beyond" burger and a salad and pronounced both excellent. I noticed a good craft beer selection, although we were there for lunch and didn't partake. Service was friendly and efficient. It's a two-part, three-story restaurant — the first floor is the Café, with counter service and inside and outdoor tables. The second and third floor are the Bistro, with table service. Both are charming, with a variety of eating spaces and lots of windows looking out on downtown Manayunk, one of Philadelphia's most appealing and lively neighborhoods. We stopped there in the middle of a 22-mile bike trip on the nearby Schuylkill River Trail, and it was the perfect stop for a couple of tired, hungry devotees of vegan fare.

Lots of vegan options but... - Edit
I came wanting good vegan pizza which seems hard to find sometimes. I was super excited to see all the vegan options here. I only tried the vegan pizza and vegan garlic rolls. The vegan margarita pizza came with kite hill ricotta cheese on it and not nearly enough- they didn’t appear to have a vegan mozzarella cheese option, tasted like a tomato pie. It did have a good cook/crispness to the crust tho. The garlic knots came out dry and with a garlic dipping sauce on the side. The dipping sauce tasted odd to me. I ended up throwing most of them out when I got home. I do want to return though and try some of their other vegan options tho!

The service is 5 star, because all the staff is so kind and willing to answer all questions. They have a plant based menu and you can veganize almost all pizzas. They have kite hill cheese and beyond burgers/strips. The pesto is also vegan and amazing

Great New "Plant-Based" menu - Edit
My wife and I are vegetarians so we were very excited to find the new "plant-based" menu at a restaurant we already frequented. We have been back at least 5 times this year and will continue to go back for the sesame avocado salad, the quinoa salad, the "fish tacos", and the edamame dumplings for sure.

Great for vegans/non-vegans - Edit
Two sided menu- one side specifically plant-based (ask if specific items can be made vegan). Was told by waitress that all items on plant-based menu ARE NOT actually vegan, but had no problem making accommodations. Had the vegan calamari, hummus, and edamame dumplings- all delicious! For the main course, I had the recommended “fish” tacos that were very tasty! Great option if you’re dining with non-vegan friends. Will go again.
