Spooky and Friendly 👻

For once meat-eaters are the afterthought on the menu

Hostile to non-white people

My partner and I went in looking for late night food during our time in Denver. While checking our IDs, the bartender made a racially-charged quip toward my partner and glared at him in a very ugly and scary way. We had only just arrived and asked whether the kitchen was still open. I hope the owners of the bar fix this and neither condone nor tolerate this type of behavior. In the meantime, I recommend steering clear of this place.

Great place for a late night snack

I don't drink, so I wasn't able to take advantage of a lot of what this place offers. However, the kitchen is open late and the menu is mostly vegan!

Vegan Poutine and Pakoras OH MY!

We came across this while searching for places that have vegan and gf options. We did delivery but after seeing photos and having the food it’s on our must visit list.
I ordered the pakora and the poutine.
I didn’t have high hopes for the poutine because vegan poutine is never delish. But holy guacamole it was to die for! I don’t know what is in their gravy but dip me in it and throw me to the lesbians!
Next was the pakora that comes with a green ranch sauce. I’m a pakora connoisseur and i have to say these were one of the best I’ve had. I do not do ranch but decided to try the sauce and it was soooooooo good.
If you want some yummy poutine and pakoras- this is the place to go.

Fun spot for horror fans

This was a fun spot to grab food and drinks. The vegan options were quite good, especially for what seems to be more of a bar than a restaurant. I had the eggplant parmesan sandwich and enjoyed it a lot. The horror vibes are fun but could be off-putting to some, especially in the bathroom. We had a good time checking out the photo booth and taking pictures with the spooky decor. Horror fans, punk rockers, and vegans unite!

Pros: Good vegan options, Unique atmosphere

Cons: Bathroom is weird (!)

They deliver now!

The Crypt has awesome vegan food and I'm excited that they're on Grubhub now for when I'm feeling lazy. Everything is made in house and the chef Jon is super creative with how he makes vegan food. The new apple garlic soup is particularly good.

Pros: Mostly vegan menu , Cool ambiance

Good food for a bar!

Their menu is mostly vegan which is really nice. We went back in October and there weren't many places to sit except for outside but it was too cold at the time so we sat at the bar. We ordered the poutine fries which were really good and they had a muffaletta sandwich at the time which was good. I'd probably go back in the warmer months though and eat outside. Definitely creepy vibes in the bar! Beware of one of the bathrooms...they have a sign outside the door stating it has explicit content inside.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Good food, Very affordable prices

Cons: Not a lot of indoor seating

AMAZING

I was too hungry and excited to take pictures of the food but it was all DIVINE especially the eggplant Reuben. We ordered the pakora fritters, vegan poutine, and vegan muffuletta as well. The atmosphere is incredible, service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. I’d eat and drink here again in a heartbeat!

Pros: Unique, vegan friendly menu, good pricing , Great music and atmosphere

Great atmosphere and tasty food!

I arrived shortly after they opened and had a quiet experience in what feels like it becomes a very busy place. The vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. Order food from the bar and they'll come serve you when it's ready. There's two rooms, plus the outside patio to sit in. Pinball, pool, good music, and a colorful atmosphere.

The falafel sandwich was great, and the vegan poutine was really good.

Pros: Tasty food, Good vibes, Parking was fairly easy on Gilpin

Cons: Could be crowded, Depending on where you sit, it can be loud

Love the atmosphere.

The vegan cheese on the poutine was not good but the gravy and fries were delicious. The atmosphere was awesome with all the goth/punk stuff around. Also the red lights is a nice creepy feel lol I love it. I’ll definitely be back to try more food but for now I’ll just get the vegan poutine without the cheese. Since it’s a relatively new spot I was thinking about trying to talk to the kitchen about changing their choice in vegan cheese because there’s a lot of good ones but I don’t know if I wanna be that guy lol 🤷🏼‍♀️
