Vegan comfort food with a view - Edit
Decided to risk coming here despite the most recent review stating they had served meat (knowing I meticulously check my food before eating it, and I always double check with the server before eating it if it looks too realistic).
Read moreOrdered a pulled BBQ oomph sharer and a flatbread (vegan as standard). The texture of the food was 100% oomph, and the cheese on it was also distinctly vegan (it had bubbled in places). Food was nice- I was originally worried the sharer would be too much but it was a small portion and more like the size of a regular side.
Turned out a lovely place to eat and watch the bonfire night weekend fireworks for free from across the bay.
Pros: Options, Good view, Nice atmosphere (acoustic set playing as we ate)

Served my daughter meat - Edit
I ordered myself and my daughter (an almost 6 years old) vegan burger - I noticed after she had a few bites that our burger looked different so I asked my partner to try to find out they served meat for her. She was brought up vegetarian and never had any sort of meat up to this point. I called manager and all I got was an apology and a small discount off the bill as sorry. I had similar experience before but as I’m a life long vegetarian I could tell before trying. But my daughter just go by what I tell her. That was her first time trying a (supposedly) vegan burger, and probably last 😩

Several vegan options - Edit
Nice to see a good selection of vegan dishes on the menu. We were just looking for a snack so had the loaded fries and onion rings. Likely to return to try some of the other options.
