What can I say… how amazing. These guys are all so lovely that work here, and passionate about serving amazing wholesome food. The lasagne was the best I’ve ever had. I just hope I’ll be back that way to try all the other things on the menu!

Great for lunch or cuppa. The house made Turmeric latte is much better that you usual commercial norm. I usually take it without sweetener but it has recently been more bitter so I now ask for a smidgen of honey. Savoury options are delicious ... and the cakes are generous and yummy! Cheerful service. Choice of sitting in peaceful back courtyard, inside, or street.

Never had a bad experience at The Garden plate other than when I’ve planned to go and they’re closed😒The food is amazing and staff is super friendly. The portions are generous and the orders come out super fast. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Best vegan food in Northern Rivers

Was happy to have access to some vegan/veg food in the countryside! Friendly service, a reasonable selection. At least 3 vegan dishes on the menu.
Read moreHad the vegan deep fried chikn' burger. Was good. Burger was loaded with salad and with a nice aioli sauce. They dont have side items (such as fries, rice or Salad etc) and was just the burger on the plate. Which is why i rated 5 out of 5.

The Garden Plate is a nice, unassuming place for breakfast or lunch, weekedays in Lismore. All food is reasonably priced, vegan options are available and food is freshly prepared on the premises.

Being just around the corner from my work, I have had a takeaway lunch here on several occasions. They have delicious lentil burgers, arancini rice balls and usually a few specials, soups, curry etc.

Best vegan café food in Lismore - Edit
Lismore is reasonably vegan friendly in most eateries, but this is the best vegan food I've had in town for sure. The vegan lasagne is cheesy and delicious, the corn fritters and salads are fresh and tasty, and the vegan share plate is good food and good value. I highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Lismore.
