We also ordered the Curry Laksa and Bun Bo Hue. While
They were both good (not great) but neither were spicy as promised. The noodles in those dishes were soft and fantastic.

Vietnamese fare - Edit
A wee café with Vietnamese vegan food. We can hear the server and cook speaking Vietnamese to each other (this place is legit)… I believe they’re all vegan despite being listed as vegetarian. I didn’t see any eggs or dairy on the menu). Ordered hainanese chicken rice (I’ve never had rice like this, and it was so good… I believe they put lemongrass in it.) Lots of other Asian people eating here that night. Service was quick and friendly, and they asked if there was any allergens we had, appear to be very conscientious.

Fantastic! - Edit
Lots of wonderful options, some familiar, some far less so, and we enjoyed what we had: sea grapes papaya salad (very few sea grapes, but a tasty salad and the soy jerky was a more interesting ingredient than the sea grapes anyway), one of the phos and the vegan fish noodle bowl (rocked my world!). And a side of pak choi with garlic (super tasty).

Definitely on our favourites list for Vancouver.

This restaurant is fully vegan, the food is packed full of flavour and there is such a great, varied choice! I had the caramelised tofu and they do tofu so we'll, some of the most flavour packed I've ever had, can't wait to try more! Plus the staff are so sweet and friendly.

Flavour and veggies - Edit
I like most of the items on the menu. However, one appetizer was a bit dry/bland and a few mains were too salty for me. But in general it’s really good!

Just Like Home - Edit
When we walked in, we were immediately greeted like family. The vibes are nothing too fancy, but it's a cozy atmosphere. My party all loved the beautiful dishware! The server was eager to please and called everyone "friends." Our food was delicious; I don't know what they do to the tofu in the Caramelized Tofu Claypot, but it's simultaneously crispy and melt-in-your-mouth smooth. Overall I wish I were staying in town longer so I could come back and try even more dishes!

The food was amazingly delicious! The laksa was the best laksa I've ever had. They were able to accommodate anything on the menu for my Buddhist/Taoist diet. The owner was very personable and energetic. The atmosphere and decore was comfortable and relaxing. Highly recommend!

Gem! - Edit
Quick and very friendly service, then the best curry laksa soup I’ve ever had. Rich, mildly spicy, packed with tofu, bok choy, vegan shrimp, and trumpet mushrooms. The people at the table next to me raved about their food, as well!

Great vegan options - Edit
I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing. We ordered the spicy cauliflower and bok choy as starter for some heat and umami. I had the curry laksa as a main which contained kale noodles. The staff explained that they add kale juice to the flour when making the noodles. I've never kale noodles before and the kale gave them a lovely savory flavour. My husband had the Miss Saigon noodle bowl which comes with spring rolls that were nicely crispy.

All the food we tried was really tasty. Especially the caramellized Tofu claypot was amazing! Homemade fruit iced teas we're great as well (If only the pieces of fruit would't continuously obstruct the paper straws😉). Reasonable price for the excellent food.

Everything is so good…
Read more1.) Service: the woman who greeted me was SO kind, got me water and kept me comfortable while my to go order was put together. She is just lovely.
2.) Food: I ordered two apps, as I was en route back to my hotel. The lemon grass tofu is wonderful. The highlight, however, was the crispy fresh rolls (I think that’s what they’re called). May be the most delicious thing I’ve ever put in my mouth (that’s not a dessert…). SO. FREAKING. GOOD.
I come to Vancouver periodically for work, so will definitely head back. But now I’m trying to do the mental gymnastics around how I can get there one more time before I leave…
