Deli Visit! - Edit
The Port Cafe is a busy cafe and deli on Porthmadog High Street. I did not dine in the cafe, but I did pop in for a takeaway lunch from the deli. There were two vegan options available: Vegan Pasties and Three Bean Vegan Burritos. There were no vegan sweets options. I had the Vegan Pasty, and unfortunately, I did not find it to be very nice. It was filled with barely seasoned veg, but from previous reviews, I can see they sometimes have a chickpea curry pasty available, which I have always enjoyed from other eateries.
Read moreThey do have a couple of vegan options on their cafe menu, so if I visit again, I will eat in to try one of these options and hopefully raise my current rating for The Port Cafe.
Pros: Vegan Options Labelled
Cons: Slow Service, Subpar Pasty

They fed me cheese! - Edit
I had hesitated in the past as it looks like a greasy spoon but thought I would give it a go. There is a very limited selection for vegans (breakfast). I ordered the veggie breakfast and specified a milk allergy, when I ate the sausage I realised that it contained cheese, they were apologetic but it's not really good enough. They also were good enough to sepcify that they didn't have a seperate fryer for vegetarians/vegans. Also no vegan alternative to butter so got served dry toast.

Nice cafe - Edit
The menu has a few vegan options but they also have a vegan pasty that isn't on the menu and isn't labelled. We checked with the worker and he was super helpful with the vegan options and heated up the pasties for us to take out. The chickpea curry pasty was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Nice food, though options limited - Edit
Very busy popular cafe/restaurant.
Read moreThere are lots of items on display to choose from, to takeaway or eat in. Pies, quiche, cakes etc. Vegan items are very limited.
There is also a restaurant menu, which is more meal based. It's very informal and dogs are allowed.
There is also seating out the front.
