Want a great sandwich: get their Tempeh! - Edit
Royal food & drink offers a small cozy experience, three minute floors of dining. The environment offers outdoor seating with views overlooking some of Seoul, but don’t expect too much. The staff were extremely friendly and I understand why they have to put a time limit on patrons’ stay.
Read moreI got the tempeh sandwich, the other vegan vegetable sandwich and a side of tomato soup. The soup was fine: warming and filling. The vegetable sandwich was healthy, but not too tasty. I loved the tempeh sandwich, which had a great flavour to it. I added avocado and wanted to order an additional.
Pros: Accepts credit card, English speaking staff, GREAT Tempeh Sandwich
Cons: Small tables

Amazing!! - Edit
**EDIT: No more french toast on menu😭
Read moreI had the vegan banana french toast and tempeh hummus platter. The french toast was so good that it reminded me of how my grandma used to make it. The tempeh platter was delicious, Im just personally not a tempeh person but I LOVE hummus and it was a home-run! Highly recommend this restaurant for delicious vegan and non-vegan options with a beautiful rooftop view!

Vegan food yes, but disappointing quality - Edit
We went for breakfast, and the menu online seemed promising because everything looks tasty, but we were disappointed when we actually tried the food.
Read moreWent on New Year's Day morning, the place wasn't super busy (not even half full) but, be warned, the food takes quite a while (they have a tiny kitchen and one/two cooks). Also don't recommend going in the winter, even inside it doesn't feel comfortably warm as you get a draft from the stairs or the doors opening when other customers enter/pass by
Foodwise, we ordered a sandwich (non-vegan) and the tempeh hummus plate, both with avo added. The avo was ice-cold and tasteless (maybe it had been frozen?). The plate came with two tiny slices of very basic white bread (not toasted, unimpressive), over seasoned (very salty) mushrooms and tempeh, chickpeas and seeds (ok), some lettuce (no dressing), tomatoes (tasteless, but ok – it's a bad season for tomatoes in January), and "hummus" (basically just a liquid purée of chickpeas – not a drop of tahini. Yes, that's often what is called hummus in Korea, unless you're at a Middle Eastern place with the real stuff.). My partner's non-vegan dish was similarly unimpressive. I will say that everything was prettily plated and the quantity was fine for us, but we just felt the quality of food ingredients and of the dishes they prepared with these ingredients was low and massively overpriced. 40,000 KRW for two people, no drinks. We won't be back, because for that price I expect more.

Amazing - Edit
Not a fully vegan place but the vegan options were delicious. I had a spicy tempeh and tofu sandwich and a citrus ade. All delicious, and of course the view is amazing. I was lucky to be there on a sunny day so sitting and looking over Seoul with the Namsan tower in the background was amazing. I ate here before a trip to the tower so would recommend doing the same. Staff were also lovely.

Decent soy yogurt bowl - Edit
Unfortunately some of the staff were quite rude during my visit which ruined my experience. The soy yogurt is nice but there's not much. It was fine. From what I can tell, there are less vegan options now. There used to be French toast? I wanted to try this but it wasn't available. You order on the machines. The view is nice but you have to time it right to get one of the tables with a view. There are also very narrow and steep stairs.

Brunch with a view - Edit
We came here for the great view, but also the food was amazing. You can order easily through an ordering machine at the entrance, english available. I had the tempeh plate and it was delicious and very filling. The seasoning was very good and the hummus had a great taste. Also the Views are stunning, since you got a great view over Seoul. Whished I had tried the other vegan dishes too, big recommendation.

Favorite Brunch Place - Edit
I often suggest this place when meeting friends for brunch or lunch and everyone is amazed by the great view over Seoul. Moreover, the food is really good and I especially like the Tempeh which is perfectly seasoned! It’s nice that they offer several vegan dishes and drinks!

Very good vegan sandwiches! - Edit
The vegan sandwiches were very good. The view from the top floors is also phenomenal. A lot of people running around just for photos, but overall a nice experience. Coffee was also very tasty! Vegan options could be more diverse though.

I love the place but the food is too small - Edit
I love the view and the vibe but the food plates were quiet small my huge friend barely ate and yogurt bowl was a bit sour and uninspiring. Not bad tho. Just not great. I would come back to hang out its nice to talk because its quiet and open at the rooftop

soooo good and finally something salty - Edit
I had the hummus plate. At first I thought that it might be too little but in the end I almost couldn’t finish it because I was really full. It was my first time eating tempe so I don’t have a comparison but I really really liked it. The hummus was also really good. Luckily I got extra bread for like 3.000 won because the plate only comes with two slices so I recommend getting extra bread. My friend had an option with meat but she also really liked it (so you can come with ur meat eater friends too😉) the vanilla latte didn’t taste like vanilla? Maybe they forgot the syrup idk. It was good though. (You change for soy milk without paying extra)

amazing yogurt bowl - Edit
I quite enjoyed this place. It’s instagram famous so there was a long line, but it did have a good view with a breathtaking sunset.
Read moreThe french toast was a bit disappointing as it was soggy, but the rest I enjoyed. The yogurt bowl was to die for and will be going back just for that in the future.

Great views good food - Edit
This is an IG famous location. The views are great and it opens early, closes late. The decor inside looks great in pics and the views are fantastic... so it gets crowded and hard to get seats with view.
Read moreI had the tempeh hummus plate. It was ok. I like that they put sprouts and seeds on plate, same as I do at home. Tempeh would have been better if crispy. Hummus was a thin layer under all the other food. Mushrooms were very good. It was a good brunch plate. Would order something different next time. Coffee was good. Staff were friendly so I will come back.
