Gluten free and vegan ice cream - Edit
I tried the soya ice cream and the chocolate milkshake. It was super tasty and gluten free as well (if you order the Ice cream in a cup). Can highly recommend it.

Delicious icecream - Edit
Came here for the delicious vegan soya icecream. It was great! Vanilla and chocolate taste. Ended up eating two icecreams, a soya bun and some other soya Sri Lankan food. This place is amazing and they know what vegan is. Also the price is really cheap! 100 rupees for one icecream.

Cheap and cheerful food. Delicious soft scoop ice cream. Right amount of spice in the savory snacks. Careful of the monkeys, they come down from the roof. Cute though!

We had ice cream and soy wraps. Ice cream was good, nothing special. The soy wraps were delicious though! It's just soy meat filling, well seasoned and somehow crispy. Wouldn't have minded some salad.

I got a strawberry and chocolate icecream and a roti - they were so so so amazing!!!! Anyone is Kandy - vegan or not - has to come here!!! I took my whole family and they loved it. Very reasonably priced too.

Walk up the stairs to the YMCA and you will find the place on your left hand. We had ice cream and we were very happy with it.

Basic place, slightly on a 'rooftop'. Owner very happily told me everything is vegan without me even asking which was great. They have a range of short eats I think they are called - the samosa was gorgeous! Then I had ice cream, even better! Good value too, I had a big samosa, a fried tofu type roll, large water and ice cream for 300 rupees (£1.50). Lots of local people would come with high turn over which made me happy to see lots of people enjoying vegan food. Go along if you're in Kandy:)

Stoked to be able to have icream in the middle of SriLanka. Although not being use to eating so many sweet treats anymore the icecream tasted super sweet. I prefered the chocolate flavour 😊

Go for the ice-cream! - Edit
We went here every day for ice-cream when we were in Kandy (we were on holiday, after all!) and it's easy to see why they're famous for their ice-cream. It was so tasty! We also tried a couple of the savoury snacks, which were great, but the ice-cream is the star of the show.

Tasty little fast food cafe in the centre of Kandy. The soy wraps they have are really good, hadn't tried anything like this before in Sri Lanka. They're spicy, just the way we like :) The ice-cream was good too, especially the chocolate one, tasted just like regular dairy ice-cream to me. The place is cheap and popular among locals. We've been there 3 times already and might go again tomorrow.

A selection of mostly deepfried snacks and wraps with soymeat are available from the counter. It felt like the items available varies throughout the day (the menu is much more extensive) - but the best is the soya softice in a vegan cone! Totally artificial flavour, but kind Of awesome anyways, like a super sweet guilty pleasure :-)
