Explained all my options! - Edit
After a miscommunication between veggie and vegan during a different meal, I asked the (presumably owner) what my options were (‘definitely vegan, not vegetarian?’ I said) and he was so welcoming and friendly and pointed out what I could eat, which included some mains, sides, roti, rice etc.

Had a lovely solo experience here, the sports were on TV and the few other guests there made me feel comfortable. They had wifi too.

They know vegan, highly recommended! - Edit
This place definitely deserves 5 stars for the vegan dishes we had. We had the eggplant curry, roti, and potatoes with Indian herbs. They recommended certain options, and were very honoust about certain things still containing milk. They were very helpful. The foods were absolutely delicious!

Heerlijk gegeten en fijne service! - Edit
Mushroom masala en baingan bartha zijn o.a. vegan. Naanbrood bevat ei, maar roti is erg lekker en wel vegan. Personeel kon goed uitleggen wat vegan was en niet. Het eten was super lekker!! Zeker een aanrader.

Nice staff & food, fair prices - Edit
I had a really nice experience here. They offer a lot of vegan food (not marked in the menu) and are knowledgeable if you ask for it. It was raining heavily during my stay... so when I finished eating, I had a little chat with a staff member about this and that. He told me to chill inside, no need to hurry and go out in the rain. I stayed for two hours and did a phone call, helped me a bunch. The little girls of the owner family i assume also were running around and really cute. Gave me cozy, living-room vibes, although the interior is not crazily comfy.

Did not know what vegan is - Edit
We came upon this shop just next to the famous Khao San Rd.
Read moreOut front of the store is several notes about how awesome the vegan options are, so we went in.
When we asked what was vegan or could be made vegan the guy looked at us blankly. We referred him to the signs out front, he still looked at us blankly.
We ended up going on Happy cow and checking the reviews and ordered based on what others said.
We asked if they had any plant milk (including coconut which they cook with) again looked at us blankly and said no.
So, we asked for black coffee (they have it on the menu) he said no we don't have.
I presume the 3 young lads looking after the store were not normally left alone and do not speak very good English or Thai.
Even google translate didn't help.
Our food was good, nothing out of the ordinary.
I recognize we are in a foreign country and English is not their first language (infact neither was Thai) but from the perspective of being in the heart of a massive tourist area, I would have thought someone would be able to speak with us.
Not to worry, however that's the reason for doing reviews to let others in the community know our experience.
Pros: Had vegan food
Cons: Staff didn't know vegan, Staff didn't speak/understand English

Fantastic Indian food - Edit
We found this spot after an obligatory stroll down Khan San road. There’s about 10-20 veganizable options and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating about veganism. The dal tadka changed my life!!!

Best Indian Food in Bangkok - Edit
After struggling around the streets of Bangkok looking for a vegan-friendly restaurants, I was delighted to stumble upon Tikka N Talk. The owner was very accommodating, knew exactly what ingredients were in the dishes, and could adapt to be vegan any that were not. Occasionally live cricket matches are shown: the volume is not too loud. The restaurant is air-conditioned and clean. We sampled six different vegan dishes in two visits and enjoyed all six. There are many Indian clients and the food is good value. The Italian menu is limited to soup and salads, although the chef can make something bespoke upon request. I’d highly recommend Tikka N Talk to anyone who is sick of eating the same Thai stir-fry for every meal! Or to anyone else!
