Super friendly staff and good food - Edit
We stopped there because it was right beside our hotel.
Read moreIt's a family owned restaurant and they are very friendly.
The food was pretty good, and the prices were not bad.
It's a decent option, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming as well.
We came back 2 other times after our first visit, and our meals were amazing.
The dry noodles are so good. 👌
What a lovely family. 😊
9/10 after 3 visits. 🙏

Didn’t understand the hype - Edit
I was so confused from all the reviews as we found the food to be very underwhelming. We couldn’t eat the spring rolls as they were just batter and no filling and tasted of old fryer oil so strange! The tofu in tomato sauce was the nicest dish but I’ve had so much nicer food across Vietnam in similar family style restaurants for the same price or less. Wouldn’t return or recommend.

Pros: The tofu in tomato sauce was ok
Cons: Rice was cold and dry , Spring rolls were not nice at all , Noodles had a strange taste and didn’t seem fresh

Lots of choice, big portions - Edit
We went twice while we were in Hue. First I had the chicken fried rice, which was huge and tasty. Next, I had the lemongrass and chilli tofu - this isn't spicy, but one of the best things I've eaten while we've been in Vietnam, definitely recommend this! I also tried the Phó, it was okay but there are tastier things to get! My partner loved the fried spring rolls and fried noodles.

Excellent!! - Edit
We actually went to this place several times while we were in Hue. The service was extremely friendly on all the occassions, they have a big menu with many vegan dishes to choose from, and they were all absolutely delicious. Loved it.

We’ve only tried the fried chkn in tamarind sauce and in the sweet and sour. Both were delish, but our favourite were the tamarind sauce. We even came here a second time the day after to have another go at it. 😊👍

Delicious Food - but a little bit too salty - Edit
Very tasty food. My meal was perfect. Unfortunately, the food of my fellow travelers was slightly oversalted.

Fine - Edit
This place is fine. I had the pho which was ok, but nothing special.

Nice food with local dishes - Edit
I really enjoyed the lemongrass tofu and the banh beo (a local hue dish). Only downside were the fried noodles with soy chicken and veggies, the veggies still seemed a bit dirty and the flavour I found a bit random (maybe the oil they used?) My partner liked it though so maybe just not for my taste! The soy chicken they used was good too, so would have liked to try in a different dish. The menu is very mock meat forward so if you don't like mock meat this might not be the place for you, but they did still have veg/tofu dishes.

Had the faux 'chicken' with lemongrass and chilli. Packed full of flavour and filling. Oh, and the carrot juice was great!

Ok food, more expensive side - Edit
The staff were friendly but the food was just standard. Didn’t taste so fresh and a bit expensive for what it is, in comparison to other veggie places. The soy chicken noodles were the best order, but we wouldn’t recommend the tofu seaweed with pineapple as didn’t taste fresh at all. Aubergine side dish was nice.

Yummy lemongrass dish - Edit
Good selection, fully vegan meals, lots of mock meat, which unfortunately isn’t our thing. Our soups were okay, and the portion of stir fried veggies was generous. If you like lemongrass, the stir fried lemongrass mushrooms were tasty and flavourful. Our four mains and a mango smoothie totalled at 250,000 VND.

It’s odd reading about the experiences that people have had with regards to reheated / microwaved food - this was not our experience at all. Of course it’s possible that we’re mistaken! But for what it’s worth, everything seemed freshly done, at least the day that we visited 🤷♀️

This place is nice, clean, and has good service. Food is delicious. The rice cakes are really nice. The fake meat is unlike any fake meat I ever had. And I also never had jackfruit like this either. It feels like entering another food culture of Vietnam.

Rather disappointing - Edit
We were looking forward to visiting this place very much due to all the great reviews, but we were disappointed.
Read moreMy husband had the fried tofu with lemongrass and did not enjoy it at all. It tasted as if it was heated in the microwave (we also heard the sound from the kitchen), it was gummilike and very chewy and dry. The sauce was also kind of weird.
I had the pho and liked it much better. The taste was good, although the tofu was a bit dry, too, and there was a lot of mock meat in it (I‘m not a fan of that, but others might enjoy it).
The man serving us (the owner?) was very friendly and spoke English quite well. The restaurant is completely vegan and there is a large choice of dishes.

Very convincing soy-based meat substitute. The lady who owns the restaurant is vegan herself and easy to communicate with. I cannot recommend the rice cakes enough.
