Very very nice staff and great food!

The staff is super friendly and all the food is organic. The food tastes very fresh and the dishes are traditional Greek. I recommend a 100%, the menu is almost entirely vegan!

Good food, great service, little pricey

Had the stifado mushrooms, ehich were good but a little overpriced for what they are.
The custard pie was quite alright.
The service was amazing, very nice people. The location is also good

Pros: Service

Cons: Could be fully vegan

One of the best in Crete

Family run restaurant that offers traditional dishes in vegan key. Fresh vegetables and genuine recipes. Don’t miss if you are in Chania!

very tasty!

traditional and authentic greek food (as far as we know as english tourists!). very friendly family-run business. nice bio wine. the hummus is particularly flavourful - would personally recommend it over the fava.

Best boureki I've ever eaten

We've had boureki (vegetarian) and moussaka (vegan). It was really good !

Pros: Boureki

Cons: The food could have been served hotter

Don't believe the hype!

I've been a vegetarian cook for 45 years and I'm in a position to say unequivocally that the food in this restaurant is both poorly prepared as well as utterly tasteless.

I ordered the fried aubergine starter and a second dish of stuffed vegetables. Apparently this restaurant practices the "very little or no salt" principle. I questioned the waitress who answered that guests can salt their own dishes at the table. Seriously? Had I known I wouldn't have wasted my time and money!

The aubergine starter consisted of 3 completely tasteless slabs of oily aubergine. The dish was bitter due to the incorrect preparation of the aubergine. The stuffed vegetables were filled with bland, overcooked rice and dried herbs. It was like eating baby food. I ate because I was starving.

The servings are very small compared to similar dishes in other restaurants, yet you pay full price. I left the restaurant feeling fooled and robbed. What a waste and a huge disappointment.

Nutritious and Delicious

Super friendly and passionate family run vegan/vegetarian restaurant with wholesome delicious food. I split a lentil soup and vegan spinach pie (vegetarian version also available), served with thick whole grain bread. Enough for two to feel satisfied. The fruit juices tasted like fresh fruit, not just sweetness. Felt healthy and energized after my meal. We were served a gratis dessert after our meal.

Pros: Very nutritious , Tasty, Fresh

Cons: None!

Huge vegan menu

The dishes were a nice vegetarian/vegan take on traditional Greek dishes. Warm and friendly staff. There was a noticeable sensation of eating fresh food straight from the Garden

Pros: Fresh and yum, Free starters and desserts to try

Cons: Quite pricy, Small portions, You have to pay for water

Very welcoming

Cute little place with very friendly staff that made us feel super welcome. They are clearly passionate about their food, and it shows! They even told us a boat about the background of each dish. All dishes our little group ordered were very tasty, and we were stuffed when we left!

Pros: Passionate people, Lots of vegan options, Vegan desserts!

10/10 on everything

Such an amazing place, with the friendliest staff, a beautiful aura and the food was the best I had in Crete.

I visited twice and loved it even more the second time. I had the moussaka, fava beans, spinach pie and briam. All were delicious, as were the vegetable sides that accompany the bread and complimentary sweets at the end.

Great greek comfort food, mostly vegan

We enjoyed this family restaurant. Most of the menu is vegan. My husband had a Boureki (which is not vegan bc of the greek cheese) and really liked it. I had the Gigantes, I had to add a bit of salt but it was really good, my daughters had the Pasticcio, which was a bit bland for me. Stelio bring us some fantastic additionnal food and an amazing free dessert. I really recommend this family place.

Great service, alright food

After this place was recommended to us I really wanted to love it. The food was ok I had high hopes for the vegan moussaka but it just wasn’t as nice as other ones I’d had. For starters me and my partner had the spinach pie and fava dip, you can’t go wrong with fava dip except the bread was super hard but the dip in itself was tasty and the spinach pie was nothing to write home about. The staff were lovely and we were brought an amazing almond milk dessert with some watermelon.

Delicious vegan food

After a long trip to Chania we got hungry and decided to go at To Stachi. It was the perfect choice. The people out there are so passionate about vegan food. They cook with passion and they stay with you at the table to explain how the food is made. Vegan Moussaka it’s a must try! So go eat at To Stachi and you won’t be disappointed.

Pros: Lots of tables , Fast service , Things on the house

Absolutely delicious!

The food here was so delicious, and flavoured perfectly. It was so hard to choose what to have as it all sounded wonderful. The chef even showed us round his kitchen. It was very relaxed, a lovely venue and very friendly owner. I hope he writes a cook book.

Lovely staff, good food

The staff were really friendly and the vegan options were good. Felt a bit like vegan food from the 70s- very health and veg orientated with no vegan cheese options. Still really nice though! The dessert was my favourite- a vegan cinnamon custard dessert- definitely recommend.

Perfect!

The vegan options taste pretty good and was well made. The Olive oil came from there own farm and the whole ambiente fits perfect.
The Owner was friendly and attentive.
We will come back (:

Amazing place for vegan dining in Chania

Went for dinner and really enjoyed the veganised versions of traditional Greek meals. Portions were generous and tasty. The staff were really helpful and both us tasters of the daily specials. Didn't get a chance to try the pudding as very full!

Pros: Food selection, Atmosphere
