Great bagel - Edit
The bagels are really good, I had the sun dried tomato tofu “cream cheese” which was tasty and generous but was very rich and had a lot of garlic and onion powders in it.
Read moreUpdate: went back for another bagel and had the avo tomato which was superb. The avo was fresh and generous, the tomato delicious and the toasted bagel everything I need in life. Delicious.

Delicious, wide selection - Edit
This is a popular counter-service bagel spot with a small area for seating. Most of their bagels are vegan, and they have a lot of fun bagel and tofu cream cheese flavors! They also have beyond meat, vegan egg, and cheese so you can also do various breakfast sandwiches.
Read moreI have so far had an everything bagel with scallion, and a pumpernickel with sun-dried tomato, and both have been delicious. The cream cheese is honestly so thick and creamy it’s really impressive, completely unlike other mealy, liquidy tofu cream cheeses I have had before!
They also have some espresso drinks and iced coffee available with alt milks. This is definitely my go-to place while in NYC!
Pros: Tons of flavor options, Delicious tofu cream cheese, Big bagels
Cons: Small area to eat, Busy

Tofu cream cheese bagels - Edit
They have sooo many tofu cream cheeses that are clearly labelled. I went for garlic and herb. They’re pretty huge so you could probably share one. Coffee is decent too, they have a few plant milks available.

Round bagels 🥯🥯 etc. from Tompkins Square - Edit
This is a chain whose flagship store is at Tompkins Square (thus it is Tompkins-Square Bagels, not Tompkins Square-Bagels). The bagels here are great 🥯🥯 .
Read moreThey offer a bunch tofu cream cheeses (so does nearly every all bagel shops in NYC, though they offer a wider variety of tofu cream cheeses here). What's more, they also offer several other vegan sandwiches and other items. Furthermore, they grill the vegan meats in foil to avoid cross-contamination. There is seating inside, but during lunch hours, I usually see long lines—this is a popular place that does tend to become packed.

Tompkins Square Bagels - More options for vegans - Edit
One of the better bagels in town. Plus, TSB really expanded the vegan options on their menu. They offer both tofu and Oatly options for cream cheese now. They also offer Beyond Meat and Just Egg for vegan bagel sandwiches. There are also many snacks available for sale such as cookies and vegan chocolate milk at the shop. My only feedback is it would be great if they added salt to the everything bagel.

Great Bagels, So Many Options - Edit
Busy bagel spot with so many vegan options. They have a gluten free bagel that is vegan, and it was amazing! Tons of vegan cream cheese options and almost all bagels are vegan! Definitely worth the visit.

Good bagels, pricey - Edit
This place genuinely gets four stars. I had a bagel sandwich here. It was delicious and I’d gladly go back. It was pricey, $18 for a bagel sandwich and a bagel with hummus, before tip. And the menu was janky; they didn’t have any bagel sandwiches that accommodated vegan cream cheese so I had to build my own which I think made it more expensive. I get that it’s culture in New York to call vegan cream cheese “tofu cream cheese” but that frankly must be so off putting to non-vegans. Why would anybody want to eat tofu cream cheese??
Read moreThe service was amazing, despite being crowded they came and took my order in line. By the time I paid it was ready. It was a confusing process and they could do a better job directing the flow of traffic. But it was quick and delicious, so that’s what mattered.
Pros: Good bagels!, Lots of vegan cream cheese, Efficient and helpful service
Cons: Build your own sandwich has whack pricing, Bad marketing of vegan cream cheese

Really good bagels - Edit
Can be pretty crowded. In middle of town, several vegan options (spreads). Really good bagels. Good coffee. Around twenty seats inside, if you're with friends, you may stand at some of the tables with more people.

So many vegan cream cheeses! - Edit
Probably the best vegan cream cheese I’ve had! They have their base flavors including plain, scallion, veggie, lox, and sun dried tomato, but be sure to check the cold case for options bc they also had vegan blueberry, strawberry and walnut raisin that weren’t online or on the board.
Read moreThey said all their bagels were vegan EXCEPT the egg everything and the French toast bagels.
Bagels were so soft and they give you plenty of cream cheese!
Pros: So many vegan cream cheese options, Friendly service, Fast!
Cons: Upcharge for vegan options
