Delicious - Edit
The ambience is pleasant and the food is delicious. However, the place tends to be quite crowded most of the time. The waitresses are very attentive, frequently recommending their signature dishes and highlighting what makes them unique. Overall, the food is marvellous and full of flavour.

Can’t stop thinking about this place - Edit
This might be one of my favorite vegan restaurant experiences so far. The food is exceptional, I’d recommend trying the truffle
Read moreramen and going for the fancy drinks, they’re worth it! I loved the pickles as a starter but pleeeeease leave some room for the matcha mousse cake, because WOW! The super friendly staff is not allowed to take tips which I think is pretty sad, but it seemed like they enjoyed having a little friendly conversation after the meal.

Amazing experience! - Edit
We enjoyed our experience here so much. The lionmane mushroom Karaage had this wonderfully gingery coating and the texture was amazing! We were also big fans of the very fresh tempeh salad with a citrus dressing and of course, the tan tan men. The only slightly disappointing thing was the gyoza - we weren't huge fans of the filling. Loved the atmosphere, it felt very authentic (I say as someone who has never been to Japan)

Yum Yum Mousse cake! - Edit
Absolutely loved our experience at Towzen! Every single item we ordered was exceptional. We started with the karaage, which was crispy and full of flavour. The matcha drink was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, just the way it should be. The highlight for me was definitely the Tan Tan Ramen; rich, comforting and incredibly delicious. And to finish off, the mousse cake… ah! I genuinely wanted a second slice, but my stomach had already reached full capacity.

Good, but not as good as Japan - Edit
We tried the truffle ramen and spicy mala ramen as suggested by the waitress. They were both nice and flavourful but nothing like the ramens you can get in Japan. A little disappointing for the higher price. The lions mane karage was the star of the show - succulent and meaty with a creamy mayo dip.

Somehow always full? - Edit
We could only have our table for an hour bc it was sooo full for dinner. Ain't no way there are these many vegans in Damansara 😅 I think people enjoy the ramen itself; even for non-vegans this is probs one of the better ramens in KL. I got the Sichuan tantanmen and while I thought it could've been spicier, it still hit the spot.

The only reason to go to Menara Millennium - Edit
While the hype of the opening (welcome to Malaysia, Towzen) may have led to the full house and a queue in this beautiful zen-like restaurant on a Saturday night, the food, service and ambience were definitely worth the wait. The servers, dressed in their cute uniforms consisting of a simple long-sleeved button-up shirt, long pants, a beret-looking hat and maybe an apron, handled the pressure very calmly and were very friendly towards us. I’m not usually one to order ramen at a Japanese restaurant but I had to try the ramen here and it’s so goooooood. The walnut mylk soup base brought flavour and creaminess to the whole bowl of noodles and veggies. And I’m impressed with the katsu tofu. We hope to come back for more vegan Japanese greatness.
Read moreEven an hour after leaving the restaurant, I’m still thinking about the iced matcha latte 🍵 I drank.
