Wir haben uns eine Vorspeisen- und eine Nachspeisenplatte geteilt, weil wir es lieben, verschiedene Kleinigkeiten zu probieren. Das Essen war richtig lecker und super sättigend – ich hätte gerne noch mehr probiert, aber ich war einfach zu voll.
Einziger Mini-Kritikpunkt: Bei der Vorspeisenplatte hätte ein bisschen mehr Brot dabei sein können, und der Nachtisch war ziemlich süß. Aber insgesamt absolute Empfehlung, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

We went to 269 TwoSixNine Vegan Restaurant yesterday and were instantly impressed by the menu – so much variety and so naturally vegan that we actually double-checked to make sure everything was plant-based.
We shared a starter and dessert platter because we love trying lots of different small dishes. The food was really delicious and super filling – I would have loved to try more, but I was just way too full.
Only tiny downside: A bit more bread with the starter platter would’ve been nice, and the dessert was pretty sweet. But overall, highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back!

Gute Lage mit großer Terasse, großartiger Service, extrem leckeres Essen und ein toller israelischer Weißwein. Und für Frankfurter Verhältnisse vernünftige Preise. Kann sehr schnell voll werden.

Read moreThe service is good and there is plenty of seating options indoors and outdoors. I had the fried cigars as a starter and the Tel-Aviv mix as main. The cigars were pretty good just came with a side of unseasoned salad. The main turned out to be basically a not rolled wrap, with a lot of, I guess soy ground meat in the middle. Unfortunately so strongly seasoned the hummus underneath and the tahini and harissa sauce had no chance. Tried them separately they tasted really good. Just got run over by the soy meat.
Overall still good food, but nothing special and pretty overpriced for the quality.

I had the schnitzel with mash potatoes which was so so good, the best mash I’ve had in a long time, the schnitzel was super tasty and portion sizes are good also!
My fiancé had the carbonara and said that it’s the best she’s ever had, she’s a big carbonara fan! 🍝
Must visit if you’re in the area. Reasonable priced and well worth the trip, so glad we found this place.

Es gibt eine sehr große Auswahl, sodass ich auf jeden Fall noch ein paar mal herkommen muss, um den Rest zu probieren. Der Laden ist schön eingerichtet und mit tierschutz aktiven Bildern, Stickern und ähnlichem ausgestattet. Vor den Toiletten gibt es auch Flyer und Broschüren zu Thema Veganismus. Ich habe mich dort überaus wohl gefühlt😄

Ein Katzensprung von der (Buch)Messe entfernt. Sehr nette, engagierte und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Ein kleines Restaurant, welches bei schönem Wetter auch zusätzliche Plätze auf der Terrasse anbieten kann. Übersichtliche Speisekarte, was wir sehr schätzen! Vorbildlich saubere Toiletten, allerdings nicht behindertengerecht.

A stone's throw from the (book) fair. Very nice, committed and courteous service. A small restaurant that can also offer additional seating on the terrace when the weather is nice. Clear menu, which we really appreciate! Exemplary clean toilets, although not suitable for the disabled.

Die Fleischspieße mit Kartoffelbrei waren lecker gewürzt. Das pikante Shakshuk mit Falafelbällchen war atemberaubend und das Brot dazu auch. Das war genau das, was wir nach der Frankfurter Buchmesse gebraucht haben!

Wir kommen gerne hier her. Das Schnitzel fand ich etwas trocken und die Preise etwas zu hoch, um von mir 5 Sterne zu bekommen. Aber man kann hier auf jeden Fall super essen! Ich bestelle hier am liebsten den gebackenen Blumenkohl und den Ceaser Salad :))

What a delicious surprise it was. Very nice menu with good variety in food and drinks. Quick and friendly service. Only bummer is the strong smell of fryer oil when you enter. It bothers a bit less once you are in the restaurant. Clothes don't smell though.
