Beim zweiten Besuch habe ich mal das japanische Bier verköstigt. Geht gut runter.
Die Gyoza mit Gemüse und der "gemischte" Salat waren sehr lecker. Die Flower Bowl sah optisch gut aus, nur leider war der Geschmack der Blumen gewöhnungsbedürftig.

The mock dock ramen was very tasty. The Mock Dock was the best vegan duck in the area. The inari ramen was also very tasty. The tofu marinated in sweet soya sauce was the highlight.

Satisfies your Ramen Cravings - Edit
I had dinner here on May 19, 2024. Service is casual, helpful and friendly. Like most restaurants in Europe, patrons are allowed to smoke in the outdoor seating area. As a result, the only way to escape the smoke is to eat indoors. This restaurant has a beautiful interior so we still enjoyed our dining experience.

The duck ramen is just okay. The broth, very little of it, tasted mostly of salt. It appeared that the ramen had already soaked up most of the broth by the time it was served to us, so the noodles were no longer chewy as they should be.

This place did have several vegan ramen options, which is nice to see. However, my food was a bit cold when it got to me - the bits not immersed in broth which were cooked (mushroooms etc) were fridge temperature, which was just a bit strange. I guess they just heated the noodles and broth and added the veg and mock duck on top straight from the fridge? It was a bit odd. It looked great, but taste was just OK.

3 vegan ramens (mock duck, tofu, or Inari), plus other vegan starters like gyoza, edamame, etc. good range of options for a non-veggie restaurant so you’ll have plenty to eat. Service is fine, friendly. We tried all the ramens and the gyoza. Flavour is a bit meh - not bad but nothing to write home about. We didn’t regret going but we won’t go back either.

Erstes veganes Rahmen welches ich probiert habe. Zutaten alle sehr frisch aber hätten tatsächlich etwas mehr sein können, als hauptsächlich die Rahmennudeln. Geschmack ist individuell und ich muss ehrlich sagen, dass das okey war. Bin aber auch eher der Pho-Fan.

Great vegan dishes, starters and desserts - Edit
I am vegan and I love this restaurant very much. There are two vegan starters, one or two vegan desserts and several vegan main dishes (yakisoba, ramen, buns, etc.). There are more dishes depending on the season and so far there has always been something great vegan. So there is also variety. I can also recommend the homemade lemonades.

Ich habe zum ersten mal Ramen gegessen. Ich habe Tofu Ramen bestellt. Die Inneneinrichtung hat mir sehr gefallen. Es sind viele Poster mit der Aufschschrift ラーメン. Ich bin sehr davon überzeugt.

Wir hatten uns sehr gefreut, endlich einen Ort gefunden zu haben, wo es auch vegane Ramen gibt. Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet, das Personal ist freundlich und es gibt auch Original japanisch-importierte Getränke. Ich hatte die Mock-Duck-Ramen. An sich hat es geschmeckt, jedoch hatte es einen merkwürdigen, süßen Beigeschmack und die Preise sind (wahrscheinlich auch aufgrund der Lage) unverschämt hoch.

I liked the ramen. But the one (Tofu Ramen) with Kimchi (spicy at the menu) wasn’t spicy at all. The Mock Duck tastes like meat. For one who like it, it’s perfect.

War jetzt schon zweimal da und bei beiden Besuchen sehr zufrieden! Einmal im Restaurant, einmal TakeOut. Die Bedienung war immer sehr freundlich und die Ramen sind der Hammer. Haben auch mehrere vegane Gerichte zur Auswahl!

The food was good and the prices were fine. They offer different vegan and vegetarian Ramen soups and some other japanese dishes. Vegan dishes are clearly marked in the menue. They also have some great lemonades. You have a beautiful view to the famous womens church from the outside seating area.

Diverse vegane und vegetarische Ramen. Meiner Meinung nach zu viele Nudeln im Vergleich zu den Toppings, war geschmacklich aber durchaus in Ordnung. Der Kellner war etwas unprofessional und beschwerte sich bei uns über die Straßenkünstler.

Auf meine Frage, ob es draussen noch Platz habe, sagte man mir ich könne mich irgendwo hinsetzen. Leider ging es dann 15 Minuten bis mich überhaupt jemand bedient hat. Und dies auch nur weil ich nicht mehr länger warten wollte und deshalb ins Lokal hinein gehen musste, um zu fragen, ob mich nun endlich mal jemand bedienen könnte. Darauf kam dan etwas Später endlich die Bedienung nach draussen und nahm meine Wünsche auf. Weder entschuldigte sich die Kellnerin für mein langes Warten, noch wirkte sie in irgendeiner Weise engagiert. Das Essen, das immerhin recht zügig kam, war geschmacklich eine ziemliche Enttäuschung. Da kocht man lieber selber zuhause. Ausserdem war es für das was es war überteuert. Ein Paar, welches sich nach mir draussen hingesetzt hatte, verliess das Lokal nach gewisser Zeit wieder, weil sich wie bei mir niemand um sie gekümmert hatte. Die Frau sagte zu ihrem Mann „They don‘t seem to give a f*ck about us at all“. Um zu zahlen musste ich erneut selber in Lokal, um die Rechnung verlangen zu können. Ich empfehle euch wirklich nicht dieses Lokal zu besuchen. Probiert es stattdessen im Neustadt Quartier. Dort findet ihr lauter authentische, kleine Restaurants und Cafés.
