The staff were really rude and didn't want to let us know which options were vegan. There was kimchi with a vegetarian labelled dish and we asked specifically if there was fish sauce in the kimchi and they said yes. This meal is labelled as vegetarian and it isn't! This meant we couldn't trust the menu or what they said so the whole thing wasn't a nice experience.

Worst vegan experience in Berlin. They served us milk. - Edit
I am allergic to lactose and no one of the service could tell us which dish contains milk.
Read moreEveryone told us differently. One time there was milk in the burger - the other time there was not.
In the end they tried to convince us that there is no milk in the curry but there was obviously milk.
We ordered the curry but now I feel really sick, the last time I felt like this - I had milk. I feel very sorry for this experience and if you are allergic to milk or eat vegan - don't go there. Worst place ever. The staff does not know what's in the food.

They have a vegan/vegetarian menu but not everything on there is good. There seems to be a real range in quality; I liked the Vish dish, but the dumpling soup came out cold and flavourless.

Bad Service, stale food - Edit
Usually umami restaurants are a safe bet with good value for money. But the waiter brought the wrong starter and didn't even consider a fault on his side. We were supposed to pay that, even though we didn't order it. And the food we had was not as tasty as I know it from umami F'hain or Prenzlauer Berg. Won't go back to umami x-berg.

Tolle Inneneinrichtung und viele vegetarische Speisen. Die Karte ist zweigeteilt in traditionell und vegetarisch. Die meisten vegetarischen Speisen sind vegan. Glutenfreie Option gibt es weniger da viel mit Seitan gearbeitet wird. Netter Service, schnell frisch und lecker zubereitetes Essen.

I ate the Buddha Burger, which when you ask for other sauce can be made vegan. It was really good an unlike everything I tried before. With fresh rice flour bread, coriander and mango it definetly had an Asian taste to it, but it went super well with the concept of the burger. Also pleasantly surprised with the super crispy sweet potato fries.

I come here quite regularly. The food is always pretty tasty and the service quick and friendly. There are many many vegetarian options. If you wanna go when the weather is nice, make sure to bring a bit of waiting time as the restaurant os always very crowded in the evenings. Never waited longer than 15 minutes for a table though

„Vegetarian dish“ made out of bone broth - Edit
We have eaten here before and asked if the pho was vegan, they told us it was so we ate it. Came back a couple days ago, where we were told that the Pho was cooked with the beef bone broth so the dish on the vegetarian menu is not even vegetarian. Super disappointed!
